Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim wa Alaikum As-Salam
The presence of food, fundamental nourishment, makes a world of difference in our day to day lives. Food sustains, fuels, and gives us the energy needed to go about our day - otherwise fasting during Ramadan would not be a means of struggle. The Food & Funds campaign will primarily provide meals to refugees and any excess will go directly towards supporting services required to rebuild the lives of our new neighbours.
In a time of immeasurable oppression, disparity, and inhumanity join our campaign in impacting sustainable change. Your funds will go directly to feed refugees under the care of MOZAIC, a 501(c)3 organization that serves the DMV region. Any surplus will go towards continued support of refugee resettlement Inshallah.
Mozaic not only cooks food for refugees and partners with local organizations to serve, but also provides families resources to become independent and valuable members of their communities. Check out their website for the massive impact Mozaic's work has on its members and its community.
We at Atlasia Kids envision a world where children will learn early on how to better respond to the call of our communities, embracing Islamic traditions of social responsibility, charity, and neighborly love Inshallah. We want to exemplify the values we advocate on our pages. We hope you will join us on this campaign.
