Futuwwah Scouts is a youth programme with a difference. It's a new, holistic educational and character-building program that merges the Islamic moral principles of futuwwah—chivalry—with the globally loved scouting model. We are launching Futuwwah Scout Groups and Clubs around the world to help young Muslims ages 4–16+ grow in faith, character, leadership, and service, while having fun, making friends, and spending time in nature.
We need your support to launch and sustain these clubs. With your donations, we’ll develop educational materials, leader training, uniforms, equipment, and program subsidies for underserved youth.
To raise £50,000 to:
Fund badge curriculum development and leader training materials for a wide range of activities and camps
Launch new Futuwwah Clubs in multiple communities
Train 50+ volunteer leaders
Print handbooks and produce uniforms for new recruits
Provide subsidies for 100+ children from low-income families
Young Muslims today face enormous challenges. Futuwwah Scouts offers a supportive space where they can:
✅ Build character through Islamic values and the Sunnah
✅ Grow spiritually, emotionally, and socially
✅ Explore nature and develop real-life skills
✅ Serve their families and communities
✅ Make friends and thrive in a faith-centered environment
This is more than just another youth program. It’s a lifelong foundation of faith, character, and brotherhood/sisterhood.
Islamic Core: Rooted in the thousand-year-old futuwwah tradition of noble character, spiritual growth, and service
Inclusive & Independent: Open to boys and girls from all backgrounds; not affiliated with any political group or sect
Scouting With Purpose: Combines modern scouting with an Islamic ethos, including weekly halaqas, Sunnah sports, and badge-based learning
Family-Centred: Encourages parental involvement and strengthens community bonds
Universal Framework: The same curriculum across countries and groups, enabling global networking and unity
Three membership options: Independent Group, Organisation-Sponsored Group, Family Pod
Our holistic program nurtures young people across four key areas:
🕋 Knowledge of God: Qur’an, Hadith, Virtues, Islamic studies
😊 Knowledge of Self: Self-discipline, sports & fitness, wellness, life skills, personal interests, emotional intelligence
🌍 Knowledge of Society: Citizenship, service, arts, culture, creativity, micro-enterprise, leadership
🌿 Knowledge of the Environment: Nature, science & tech, outdoor adventure, environmental stewardship
“Being a Scout (in my Muslim scout and girl guide group) during those formative years helped me become more confident and made me love the outdoors! We prayed and memorized du‘as together, prepared charity boxes, went on hikes, gazed at the stars at night, built fires and told stories around the campfire, did so many creative activities –even travelled to Morocco! – and made real, lasting friendships. Now I want the same for my children.” — S.C., who was a Scout and Girl Guide from ages 8-12
In the name of God (Allah) I promise to do my best
to love and serve God (Allah) and His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him),
to care for humanity and all of Creation,
and to live by the Futuwwah Code.
