We are sure all of you have been watching the news to know the updates on Covid-19.
As worried as everyone may be, we sure hope everyone is taking the necessary precautions and following orders to stay home; safe and sound.
Unfortunately, in some circumstances, some people may not be very lucky.

There are many whose lives are badly affected by this pandemic. The healthcare providers, the small-time traders, laborers and those who depend on daily wages, as well as the underprivileged communities who live hand to mouth - they are all affected without us realizing it.

Every day of Movement Control Order is a day of lost wages. 

EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

They have families to feed. Bills to pay. Children and elderly parents to look after. They now have additional challenges to handle due to this ordeal.

Therefore, JoviaNina are now collaborating with Mercy Malaysia to lend our helping hands. Your contribution too, will definitely help during this difficult time.

WHAT WILL THE FUNDS BE USED FOR?

We want to help provide for the essential needs of ‘at-risk-communities’, such as:

1) The B40 population at the PPR flats – Delivering hygienic and cleaning kits (disinfectants, hand sanitizers, hand soaps, face masks) and visiting the elderly or those who need assistance, especially among the migrants and immigrants.

2) Detention Centers - Clothing for people living in detention; cleaning and disinfecting materials and providing hand sanitizers, hand soaps and face masks.

3) Refugees and Stateless Communities – Establishing mobile clinics to offer health screening and providing hygiene education on hand washing and keeping clean – and referring them to hospitals if they are suspected to be Covid-19 positive. If tested negative, Mercy Malaysia will support the RM40 imposed by KKM for non-Malaysians.

5) Small independent schools - Delivering hygiene and cleaning kits (disinfectants, hand sanitizers, hand soaps, face masks) and providing education on hygiene  and proper hand washing as well as the importance of keeping clean.
