We You did it! You helped us make our deadline of August 15 to reach $1 million, as our down payment to secure a new home for the Rhoda Masjid. Thanks to your generosity, we are at the door of the Rhoda Masjid and Spiritual Wellness Centre, a unique project and the first mosque in Canada that puts the emphasis on spiritual wellness for our community and beyond!
We need you to: HELP US RAISE $300K TO MOVE IN AND SET UP AS WELL AS TO COVER ALL EXPENSES FOR ONE FULL YEAR.
YOUR DONATION WILL ALLOW US TO RE-START ALL OUR SERVICES: teaching, counseling, community development.
We also are looking for investors: people who want to become monthly donors.
Our mission is to create a template for positive spaces online and in-person, in which people are offered a variety of ways to connect to their full potential, leading to spiritual wellness and empowerment to walk the Path. We're all about community development, and we're working on models of how community services rooted in spirituality can be creative and also viable. We are committed to training people from other communities to do this kind of work successfully wherever they are.

It's time to revive a community-based spiritual model of wellness, and it's time to restore wellness to a place of centrality in our work as Muslim institutions. Wellness is an essential part of a good life, and it must be part of what we offer to Muslims and others in the work we do as people who guide to faith. It's time to offer the powerful healing traditions passed down to us through the noble Legacy of Prophet Muhammad (may the light of God continue to nourish his soul and our connection to him). The work of the Rhoda goes far beyond serving Muslims alone, and extends past the region of Ottawa. Not only do we regularly host guests from all over the world including France and hold internationally-attended retreats and events, but our Teachers continuously address matters of global concern. The Rhoda is dedicated to responding to the questions and concerns that arise in our world today and hosting conversations and events that build bridges between Muslims and everyone else.
