As we enter the blessed month of Ramadan, we are reminded of the values of compassion, empathy, and supporting those who are most in need.
Living with a disability is already a significant challenge.
Living with a disability while facing poverty is even harder.
For many deaf and disabled individuals in Bangladesh, this is their daily reality. Accessing food, support, and basic necessities is a struggle that no one should have to endure.
This Ramadan, Deaf Foundation UK is committed to making a difference. We are raising funds to provide essential Ramadan Food Packs to the deaf and disabled community in Bangladesh, ensuring they receive the nourishment and care they deserve.
Alhamdulillah, this is our fifth year of distribution, carried out in partnership with OneNation.
We are reminded of the words of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ:
“Give charity without delay, for it stands in the way of calamity.”
(Al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 589)
