This Ramadan, the Islamic Centre of West Australia is calling on the Ummah to help complete a Masjid and Multipurpose Islamic Centre that will serve Muslims for generations.

For over 30 years,  the Islamic Centre of West Australia has supported the Perth community through prayer, education, youth programs, dawah, and community care. Today, our growing community needs a space that can carry this amanah into the future.

What happens next depends on those who choose to act this Ramadan.

What We Are Building

Your donation will help build:

1. Supporting facilities around the Masjid
2. A Madrassah and learning centre
3. Separate male and female community spaces
4. A multipurpose sports hall and gym
5. Cafe, restaurant, and retail spaces to sustain the centre for generations

Progress So Far

• Alhamdulillah, $5.5 million has already been raised.
• Masjid Khadijah will open this Ramadan inshaAllah and Phases 1, 2, and 3 are complete.
• Development approvals secured
• Carpark and essential services completed
• What stands today exists because the Ummah showed up.

Our Ramadan Goal

We are raising $3.5 million this Ramadan

This will fund Phase 4 and part of Phase 5, bringing us significantly closer to completing the full centre.

This Ramadan is a critical window.
What we raise now will determine how soon this centre can fully serve the community

Ramadan on the Road

This Ramadan, we are travelling across Australia to share this vision in person.

From Perth to Adelaide, Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney, and beyond, we are visiting masajid and communities to remind one another that this centre belongs to the Ummah.

One Journey. One Vision. One Ummah.

Why This Centre Matters

This centre exists so that:

• Children grow up loving Islam
• Youth find belonging, purpose, and identity
• Families gather, learn, and support one another
• New Muslims are welcomed and cared for
• Iman is strengthened through knowledge and service

This is sadaqah jariyah that continues long after we are gone.

The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Whoever builds a masjid for Allah, Allah will build for them a house in Jannah.”
Sahih al Bukhari
