This fall, inshaAllah, we are traveling to Kenya with the Human Development Fund to witness the humanitarian work already taking place and to help strengthen it with your support.

 

HDF has been working across Kenya in areas like Namanga, Kibera, and refugee-hosting regions to meet urgent needs. Their programs focus on caring for orphans, providing clean and safe drinking water, supporting education, and building livelihood opportunities for youth and women.

 

They are currently:

• Providing monthly food, healthcare, and school support for orphans in underserved areas
• Rehabilitating wells, installing solar-powered water pumps, and building sanitation facilities
• Distributing school supplies, uniforms, and Qur’ans to children from vulnerable families
• Running vocational training hubs that teach skills like tailoring, carpentry, beekeeping, and digital entrepreneurship

We are joining this effort to meet the children, visit the projects, and help share their stories. But we don’t want to wait until we get there to start making an impact.

 

Through this campaign, we are raising funds to support these programs right now, to help provide food parcels, restore clean water sources, deliver education support, and care for orphans who have no one else.
 

Your sadaqah will reach them before we do. It will provide relief. It will restore dignity. And inshaAllah, it will be written as a source of reward with Allah ﷻ.

The Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said, “The most beloved people to Allah are those who are most beneficial to others.” This is an opportunity to be among them.
