Help us train 1000 people and 100 organizations in digital media production, and narrative strategy over the next 2 years

Sponsor an Institutional or Individual Scholarship for the Center of Global Muslim Life Digital Media Academy

As our world has shifted digital media producers have been placed at the center of every organization. The problem is most Muslim, and faith-rooted institutions were not prepared for this shift, nor do they have the expertise on staff to make this transition in an impactful way.

We believe with training and connecting media producers across our diverse organizations, we can build an ecosystem to truly change the story and build narrative infrastructure for our movements.

In September we launched the Beyond Borders Digital Media Academy and so far we have had 70 people enroll in the course, with 7 Muslim community institutions from around the US and the world enrolled in the program. We want to reach as many people as possible with this course, so with that in mind, we are slashing the price of the course by 50% until the end of the year to get more teams enrolled.

We have projects emerging from our group participants that are shifting narratives about Muslims from throughout the United States. We are helping startups in Europe and Southeast Asia build pitch decks to launch their ideas, and we have already partnered with organizations enrolled in the DMA to produce content like our 5 day live series with the Muslim caucus for the 2020 election

The course is split up across 5 lessons, with 20 video lessons and tutorials, with 50 lesson sections, and links to hundreds of articles, books, videos, and resources on all the topics covered in the course from storytelling, to creating a culture for creativity, to branding, digital marketing, social media strategies, and online fundraising.

In this 5 week course, Dustin Craun teaches a master class on content development and digital media strategy for community institutions and individuals building their portfolios.

Over 5 weeks participants will work with Dustin Craun to develop strategies focused on key campaign moments for their institutions, startups, or media projects. With feedback and coaching throughout the program, the course will culminate in the sixth week where our organization teams and students will pitch their ideas, in our demo day, to a panel of digital media experts.

Do you have a Muslim institution you want to sponsor for the course? A promising digital media strategist you want to sponsor?
