Over the past few years, Zahra has faced severe health challenges due to multiple health conditions Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, and Cervical Instability. These issues have left her unable to work; she is bed bound and unable to manage day-to-day life. In addition, Zahra is gradually losing both her eyesight and hearing, making everyday tasks even more difficult. In January this year, Zahra was affected by the Eaton Fire in CA and had to evacuate. Part of the funds raised will cover the evacuation expenses related to the wildfire. 

With limited savings and relying on Medicare, Social Security benefits, and disability insurance, Zahra is in urgent need of support.  We are raising $92,600 to cover: the cost of a caregiver for six months, physical and occupational therapy not covered by Medicare, home health care, evacuation expenses, home modifications, and assistive technology to improve her quality of life and foster her independence.
