The Fredericton community has been struggling with a dire need for a new mosque. The building housing the existing one is 150 years old and overcrowded. The mosque served the community comfortably when there were only a few Muslims in the city in 1995; however, the city is now home to more than 3,000 Muslims, and this number continues to increase rapidly, despite the fact that we are still served by the same mosque. The mosque is overcapacity.
The city of Fredericton is known for its diversity, and the Muslim community represented a good portion of it. Despite facing financial constraints, the community members are determined to build a new mosque. The new mosque will be modern, spacious, and equipped with all the necessary amenities to cater to the community's religious and social needs.
Our initial efforts paid off as the campaign gained momentum and people started contributing to the cause. Community members are filled with hope and determination to reach 1.5 to 2M (due to cost-push inflation) goal. Despite facing challenges and setbacks, the community continued to work towards its objective with unwavering faith and determination.
The plan for the new center is made of three phases:
Phase 1: collect enough money to purchase a suitable piece of land, prepare a design of the new center and complete applications and permits, submit these documents to the City for approval, upon approval we started clearing the land and preparing it for building. That phase is mostly completed. 
Phase 2: Finish the land preparation and start building the Main Praying Hall of the Centre and pave a large parking lot. This is where we are now. The goal of our current funding campaign is to collect enough funds to complete this phase. Please help us complete this phase as you did for phase one. 
Phase 3: complete the additions of a school section for our kids, a large Hall to be used as a Gym for our youth, and social gatherings (Eids, weddings, etc.). 
After months of hard work and dedication, the community raised enough funds to purchase a 2.5 acre land, got approval from the city council, and cleared the land, but not enough to start Phase 2 (building the main prayer hall) of the construction project.
The city rejoiced as the new mosque got approved by the city council. The community members felt a sense of pride and accomplishment as they saw the fruits of their hard work come to fruition. The new mosque will bring the community together, fostering a sense of unity, love, and respect for one another. The donation campaign will not only help the Muslim community build a new mosque, but it will also strengthen the bond between the different communities in the city. The people of Fredericton learned that by working together towards a common goal, they could overcome any challenge and achieve great things. The new mosque will become a symbol of hope, faith, and unity, inspiring generations to come.
We need your generous contributions so that we can complete our second and third phases. Please note that we have no other sources of halal funds than yours' and that contributions in this month of Ramadan are worth more than any other time of the year. Also, such a contribution will be a “Sadaqah Jariyah” working on your behalf. And finally, Allah (SWT) is watching our actions. تتألف خطة المركز الجديد من ثلاث مراحل:
المرحلة 1: جمع ما يكفي من المال لشراء قطعة أرض مناسبة، وإعداد تصميم للمركز الجديد وإكمال طلبات وتصاريح البناء، ثم تقديم هذه الوثائق إلى البلدية للموافقة. بعد الموافقة، بدأنا في تطهير الأرض وتجهيزها للبناء. تم الانتهاء تقريبًا من هذه المرحلة.

بعد شهور من العمل الجاد والتفاني، جمع المجتمع أموالًا كافية لشراء قطعة أرض تبلغ مساحتها 2.5 فدان، وحصل على الموافقة من المجلس البلدي، وقام بتطهير الأرض، ولكن ليس بما يكفي لبدء المرحلة الثانية (بناء قاعة الصلاة الرئيسية) من مشروع البناء.
