Embracing My Toughest Battle, Walking My Own Path with Tawakkul

As Muslims, we place our complete trust in Allah while also accepting the responsibility to 'tie our camel' - taking action in the face of hardship while maintaining unwavering faith. This balance is the essence of Tawakkul - the deep conviction that Allah’s plan is always perfect and that surrendering to Him brings peace. 🕊️ 

My pancreatic cancer has resurfaced after 2.5 years, and my medical team at Erasmus MC have given me months to live should I not choose the Chemo route🤷‍♀️ pointing out that the cancer has spread to both my lungs and one ovary. 

With this recurrence, I have once again chosen to forgo chemotherapy, and instead am fully committing to integrative treatments (that I have not tried before) like —Vitamin C & Mistletoe (IV) therapy, Hyperthermia sessions, Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber Therapy, and an even more disciplined bio-organic keto diet, free from gluten, dairy, and refined sugars.

I am incredibly fortunate to have the guidance of a phenomenal functional oncologist, Dr. Wafaa Abdel-Hadi, MD of Aware Clinic supporting me since my recurrence as of April 2025.

These alternative treatments are not covered by my medical insurance which is why I have launched this campaign to raise funds for my medical costs.

I will be undergoing my treatment protocol at The Arcadia Praxisklinik in Bad Emstal, Germany starting June 1, 2025 for a period of 4 weeks.
