Helping preserve a Masjid located in Detroit to continue building the community and youth

Help Masjid Fatimah, a masjid located on the east side of Detroit. We are currently trying to raise funds to maintain and sustain our Masjid.

Despite the dire need of funds, the Masjid has truly helped the community grow, increasing the safety within the area by 85% through creating a community garden and house rehabilitation programs. The Masjid is also home to several of the local youth, keeping them off the streets and in programs like Detroit PAL Soccer and FIRST Robotics.

Although we are trying to grow and build the community, we fall short monthly with funds. We barely meet the minimum requirements to sustain the Masjid. With a leaking roof, single bathroom, no proper sound system, and no internet, paying our Imam is a cumbersome task. Lack of funds have been hitting us hard.

With the blessings that come with the month of Ramadan, take advantage by donating to our Masjid. With your donations not only do we plan on fixing the Masjid, we also wish to implement Islamic classes for our community.

We will be hosting a Ramadan Fundraising Iftar Sunday, June 10th at the Tawheed Center in Farmington Hills. Please feel free to join us. Specific information about the event can be found on the attached flyer.

If you do not wish to donate financially, you are also welcome to donate your time! The board meets weekly on Sundays after duhr prayer at the Masjid located on 12818 Joseph Campau Ave, Detroit, MI 48212.

Please note that Hope Center is the non profit organization (501c3) that mothers the Masjid.
