Who We Are

Masjid-ul-Muslimeen Association is a registered non-profit organization established in 2023 by a group of brothers residing in Johannesburg, with a firm resolve to establish a Masjid upon Qur’ān and Sunnah in Johannesburg North, South Africa.

الحمد لله رب العالمين 

With the grace of Allāh سبحانه وتعالى an offer to purchase a property for the establishment of the masjid was made and has been accepted for the purchase of the property situated at 1 Chester Road, Parkwood, Johannesburg North.

The purchase price is $120 400 USD and we've raised $27 440 USD this far.

Some Site Info and Benefits of the Property 

• This will be the first Masjid in the area
• The size of the erf/stand is 2023m2 allowing for good parking accommodation
• The existing building on the site is 362m2, is facing Qiblah and can accommodate +-152 Musalees
• The are +82 Muslim households within a 1km of the property
• This is a corner property on a busy road leading to Rosebank, a very busy and frequented Economic Node in the city.

Our Request From the International Muslim Ummah

As mentioned above, the offer to purchase the property - 1 Chester Road, Parkwood, Johannesburg North, South Africa at the cost of $120 400 USD has been accepted and the funds need to be raised by the 21st January 2025.

We've raised $27 440 USD with a remaining balance of $92 960 USD to raise for the purchase of the property for estasblishing the Masjid.

We sincerely appeal to the Muslim Ummah to assist and contribute in Sadaqah Jāriyyah/Lillah toward the the establishment of this House of Allāh سبحانه وتعالى.

We ask Allāh  سبحانه وتعالى to reward you with the reward mentioned in the hadīth of the Messenger of Allāh صلى الله عليه و سلم:

On the authority of Uthmān ibn Affān رضى الله عنه, who reported: The Messenger of Allāh صلى الله عليه و سلم said: “Whoever builds a Masjid for Allāh, Allāh will build for him a house in Paradise.”

Sahīh Al-Bukhāri 450 and Sahīh Muslim 533
