Since Muzz first launched in 2015, we have raised over $1.7M for lasting charitable legacies around the world. This Ramadan we are attempting our biggest campaign yet.
Muzz is partnering with Droplets of Mercy to raise $500,000 and build a hospital in Jordan to help hundred of thousands of Palestinian and Syrian refugees
Jordan, a small yet resilient country in the Middle East, has long been a refuge for
displaced populations, particularly Palestinians and Syrians. Today, overcrowded
refugee camps highlight the ongoing struggles faced by those fleeing conflict and
seeking safety.
Unlike other host countries, Jordan granted many Palestinian refugees citizenship,
allowing them to integrate into society. However, a large number still live in refugee
camps with limited resources, waiting for a resolution to their long-standing
displacement.
The Syrian Civil War, which began in 2011, led to one of the worst refugee crises in
modern history. Over five million Syrians fled their homes, with Jordan receiving a
significant share due to its proximity. The Za’atari and Azraq refugee camps, built to
accommodate Syrian refugees, quickly became overcrowded, with Za’atari growing
into one of the largest refugee camps in the world.
● Jordan’s Limited Resources – With scarce water and economic challenges,
Jordan struggles to provide adequate infrastructure for the growing refugee
population.
● Prolonged Crises – Many refugees have lived in camps for decades, with no
clear resolution to their displacement in sight.
● Fluctuating International Aid – Jordan relies heavily on foreign aid, but
inconsistent funding impacts the quality of life in refugee camps.
Despite these challenges, Jordan remains one of the most welcoming countries for
refugees, balancing its own economic struggles with humanitarian responsibility.
However, the need for long-term solutions, sustainable aid, and political resolutions
remains urgent.
As Muslims it’s on US to help our brothers and sisters in need.
This Ramadan help us raise $500,000 to build a hospital to provide Palestinian and
Syrian refugees with essential health services and reduce morbidity and mortality
within the population.
What our hospital will include:
And of course, the hospital will be Muzz pink!
We’re proud to work with Droplets of Mercy because they're committed to delivering tangible projects in a way that supports local people. They do this by working with local experts and training local medical professionals.
Like Muzz, they also value transparency and keeping the Muzz community up to date on where your Zakat is spent. We’ll have regular updates, along with photos and videos as the project comes together.
Brick by Brick:
JazakAllah! Your contribution will help get this hospital built, brick by brick.
