Millennial Muslims in the West are experiencing parenthood and raising a Muslim family in a completely new paradigm to their own upbringing. 

They are facing unprecedented challenges whilst trying to nurture Muslim children who are successful in this life, without compromising their Islamic beliefs and identity…

The overwhelming pressure of modern lives and external societal influences disrupt the harmony in and even break Muslim families. It can be hard to find practical, relevant and relatable solutions for the hurdles that Muslim parents are collectively facing in varying ways.

There seems to be little content, conversation and support specifically addressing the millennial Muslim parent experience. 

Left unchecked, these problems won’t go away. Instead, they will become more ingrained and toxic to the next generation of Muslim children…

We feel the struggles of Muslim families are critically needed conversations – which have a short window to affect positive change.

We want to create a dedicated space for an honest, relevant, and authentic discussion about Muslim families’ challenges and experiences. Source practical solutions and relevant ideas from the Muslim community – for religious and general parental hurdles. 

Our mission is to create helpful content that supports Muslim parents in their dream to nurture Muslim children who are successful in this world and confident in their Muslim identity.

Our Objectives

• Create meaningful and relatable content that provides practical solutions to the issues that Muslim parents experience.
   
• Build a community of Muslim parents who share the same hope of raising Muslim successful children who are confidently Muslim.
   
• Produce effective resources and materials to assist Muslim parents to nurture happier families based on Islamic values.

This project is for parents who are trying their best to raise children who will be happy and successful in all aspects of their lives, whilst being confident in their Muslim identity. 

Our team consists of young Muslim parents who can relate to many of the challenges of other parents. We are motivated by our own children's future and are striving to build a better future not just for them, but for all Muslim children alike. Learn more about our team here.

So, what are our plans for the future?

• So far we have launched our website with articles submitted by Muslim parents and have built a community of Muslim parents on our mailing list
   
• We have set up our podcast studio and recorded our first podcast too, you can watch or listen to our first podcast episode here
   
• We are currently posting new articles every week, with an aim to publish 3-5 articles a week by the end of 2022
   
• We are currently in the process of producing and publishing regular social media content with a focus on Instagram
   
• By the end of 2022, we aim to be in a position to start generating revenue from advertising and brand partnerships with Muslim brands
   
• By the end of 2022, we aim to start video production of a fun and light-hearted series for Muslim parents (WATCH THIS SPACE!)
   
• By the middle of 2023, we aim to be financially sustainable with minimal dependency on donations from Muslim parents

We are seeking to raise £25,000 to sustain this project for the first year. We need your support!

The money raised from this campaign will go towards paying part-time salaries for our staff and freelancers (Chief Editor, Deputy Editor, Social Media Manager and Project Manager). Part of these funds will also go towards purchasing any equipment and software we need.

This is a bootstrapped project with minimal costs but we will need financial support to get us through Phase 1 of the project, where we focus on building the foundations for great quality content for Muslim families. This will help us provide a proof of concept to potential advertisers and brand partners, which in turn will help us become financially sustainable in the future.
