His confidence from last weekends protest where he was surrounded by people from all walks of life trying to stop a genocide was gone.
Now he sat here waiting outside HR's office, where just inside the room he knew the President, the legal counsel of the company, and HR were all meeting to discuss his fate.

Are you frustrated and tired of seeing Muslims, Arabs, and Allies fired, suspended or labelled as Anti-Semitic hate mongers; for calling for an end to the Genocide happening in Gaza!
How does criticizing a state equate to the hatred of the Jewish people?
This is something that has long bothered me.
My name is Nadir Shirazi M.Ed. and I am the former Multi-Faith Facilitator at the University of Toronto's Multi-Faith Centre for Spiritual Practice, as well as a former religious diversity consultant.
Am I who spent a career as an educator learning/dialoguing from and with Jewish identity of all denominations Anti-Semitic. Simply because I want to stop Palestinian children from being unalived? No!
Am I a sympathizer of terror when I point out that Oct 7 cannot be viewed without understanding 75 years of brutal occupation, colonization, and now what is being called by the International Criminal Court as possible Genocide? No!
Muslims faced this Islamophobia after 9/11 and sadly it is back in what I am calling The New Islamophobia.
As an educator, artist, and an e-learning expert. I have watched online as so many people have posted stories about being let go, or suspended or vilified.
Anti-Semitism has been used as a shield for Genocide. The world is awake to it, even if Western governments are not.
However the images are exhausting and I felt that after months people are losing momentum because we are human. So I thought that art may be an avenue to explore.
Aadil's story is all of our stories. From those protesting, to those who want to but are afraid of legitimate consequences. He's a regular person from Toronto, who worked in IT at a fictional Toronto Law firm. For posting online about the rights of Palestinians he was labelled as Anti-Semitic and fired. What does he do now? Well he won't give up that's for sure. Each day he sees tragedy after tragedy, and he feels his personal loss is small in comparison. His journey is all of our journeys for those who stand for justice and truth.
I have started writing a few sample chapters online, but my hope inshallah is to self publish this. I say self-publish because it is well known that mainstream publishing is very Zionistic and shuts out Palestinian voices and allies.
So your help will not only allow some badly needed time for me to write and create. It will also allow me to help find the right creative partners who can help bring this to a global stage.
I'm not Palestinian. But I am Muslim and Canadian, and both of those things make me accountable to Allah, and to my innocent brothers and sisters who have nothing to do with labels of terror.
At the lower levels you can help get this off the ground, at the higher levels you can even help introduce characters and ideas as the goal is to turn this into a community based project.
Because there are so many urgent causes right now for Palestinian communities in Gaza that I want to ensure people focus their attention there. Aadil's fight is a long term fight and is about hearts and minds. It won't succeed if it can't generate money but right now one $700 chapter at a time is the way forward.
It's really simple if we raise $700 thanks to your generous support for a chapter, then we will keep going to raise another $700 for the next chapter, and the next, and the next, and the next….
I am a real person, and with a heavy heart I write this story. I am tired of feeling helpless and this is my part. So I turn myself into Art!
