Assalamu Alaikum everyone,

My name is Laiba, and I’ve created Jugnoo Collective, a creative community in New York built on stories, people, and art worth making. Jugnoo means firefly, and just as fireflies light up the night together, I believe that when we gather our small lights, we can bring real hope to those who need it most. Alhamdulillah, our community has grown so beautifully, and with that growth comes the responsibility, and the blessing, of giving back. That is why we are coming together to support our brothers and sisters in Gaza.

The people of Gaza continue to endure unimaginable hardship. Families have been displaced from their homes, children are going hungry, and hospitals are struggling to care for the sick and injured. In the middle of all this, charity has become a true lifeline. A single meal can carry a family through the day, clean water can protect children from disease, and medical care can save a life. Every donation reaches people who have been left with almost nothing and reminds them that they are not forgotten.

Your contribution, no matter the size, truly goes a long way. Ten dollars can help put food on a family’s table, and when our whole community gives together, those small amounts become thousands of meals, warm blankets, and lifesaving care. Moving forward, each Jugnoo gathering will include a suggested donation to this campaign, so every event we host becomes a small act of relief for Gaza, and we’ll share our progress with the community along the way. Alhamdulillah, through the generosity of people like you, Human Concern International has been able to reach so many families on the ground. Here is some of what that support has made possible:

Food & Meals

• 5.9 million meals delivered through emergency kitchens, food boxes, and flour packs
• 4,000 hot meals prepared daily (120,000+ meals monthly) through HCI’s Gaza kitchens
• Continuous distribution of food parcels, vegetables, flour, and baby formula

Orphans & Children

• 3,000+ orphaned children and caregivers supported with food and essential care
• Eid and winter clothing provided to children and orphans
• Support extended to evacuated injured children and their families in Turkey and Egypt (400+ cases)

Hygiene & Health

• 2.5 million liters of clean water delivered, serving over 50,000 people
• A fully supported HCI medical clinic in Gaza, serving 700 patients daily
• 75,000+ patients treated through HCI-supported medical facilities

Livelihoods & Education

• 300+ medical students sponsored in Gaza, investing in the future doctors of Palestine
• Hundreds of students supported through education and livelihood initiatives
• Long-term water security through a large water plant in the West Bank, serving 10,000 people

Clothing & Essentials

• Thousands of families received jackets, blankets, and thermal wear through HCI’s Winter Kit Campaigns
• Warmth and protection for children, elders, and displaced households during harsh winter conditions
• 4,500+ waterproof tents set up for displaced families

This campaign fundraises on behalf of Human Concern International, a registered charity in Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom, and all funds raised go directly toward humanitarian relief for Palestine.
