If we have learned anything from the distressing events that have unfolded over the last several months, it is that we cannot discriminate on who deserves help and whose rights we choose to support. Every human impacted by conflict deserves the same compassion and is of equal value.

We are calling on the digital community around the world to join our challenge and raise much-needed funding for all Palestinians and humanity everywhere that are experiencing conflict, instability injustices and oppression. You can use your voice creatively to spread awareness or donate to our campaign. We are inviting creatives, actors, designers, chefs, digital content creatives, bloggers, artists and athletes to show their support.  Join us to help ensure funding is secured for the most vulnerable.

THE SITUATION

For generations, the Palestinian people have been experiencing injustices. Along with Palestinians, we have seen a dramatic increase in conflicts and oppression amongst other communities around the world. The number of human right violations have grown at an alarming rate, due to conflict and instability.  Currently, around the world, there are more than 25 active conflicts taking place in Yemen, Venezuela,  Ukraine, South Sudan, Myanmar, Somalia, Sudan, Congo, Nigeria, Tigray, Syria, Afghanistan and much more. Even with wealthier nations supporting, a huge funding gap still exists. Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. If we allow one group to be discriminated against, mistreated, or oppressed, then it sets a precedent that other groups can be treated the same way. We can only fix this world together, united #All4Humanity. We can't do it divided.

The $5 Challenge

Let’s not forgot all those less fortunate than us around the world. Take time out to stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people, and/or all other communities that could use your support and voice.

1. Film a short creative video and/or picture
2. Share within the video the group you are standing up for
3. Announce and donate $5 to the campaign
4. Invite and tag 5 others in the video and/or social media post, encouraging them to donate/participate

Quds An Nur, is a registered Canadian Not-For-Profit organization, with a passion to give back, dedicated to increasing philanthropic giving through the use of technology and creative challenge campaigns. Quds An Nur is also leveraging its platform to help fundraise much-needed funds. Quds An Nur’s current challenge campaign goal is to fundraise and collect donations for distribution through CanadaHelps to other vetted charities voted on by the people.  

WHERE WILL YOUR DONATION GO?

Our vision for the campaign is secure a substantial amount by mobilizing the community to come together united for humanity.  We need to secure billions, not millions.  Whether we secure this amount, is in the hands of the collective people together. By coming together and working towards this common goal of just donating $5, we can make a real difference in the lives of those who need it most.

YOUR DONATIONS FROM THE CHALLENGE WILL GO TO VETTED REGISTERED CHARITIES THAT PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO PALESTINIANS AND OTHER COMMUNITIES AROUND THE WORLD IMPACTED BY CONFLICT.

Given the magnitude of crises, we aim to support multiple charities that are on the frontlines serving vulnerable communities.

Our approach to the selection of the final charitable organizations that will be recipients of the donations is very unique. Once funds are raised, we will hold a poll and open vote for the people to decide which charitable organizations shall be the recipient of the donations. The community will be updated regularly, and the whole process will be democratic and transparent for the public.

Be rest assured in our process, as LaunchGood will not release the funds from the campaign until the charitable organizations are decided upon and voted on by the people.

THROUGH PARTNERSHIPS WITH A REGISTERED CHARITY, WE WILL BE PROVIDING TAX RECEIPTS TO DONORS.
