Arizona is one of the epicenters of the COVID-19 Pandemic and many masjids have had to close their doors for the safety of their community members since March. Without the masjid allowing attendance in-person prayer and worship, these masjids have seen a significant decrease in Masjid funding. Some masjids are struggling to pay their basic necessities such as electricity and required landscaping services. Some masjids have offered services online and still have staff to pay and the funding for their staffing is being depleted.

Your funds will be divided equally over 4: Islamic Center of Laveen, Masjid Abu Bakar, Masjid Bilal (Maricopa County Mosque) and AMA.

The Arizona Muslim Alliance (AMA) is a 501(c3) nonprofit organization in Arizona whose vision is to be the unifying federation of Muslim organizations in Arizona, the leading advocate of the diverse Muslim community, and a catalyst for enriching the society at large. The AMA is organizing fundraising to be collected in order to offer assistance to these local masjids.
