Al-Izza Mosque.

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

“The mosques of Allah should only be maintained by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day, establish prayer, pay alms-tax, and fear none but Allah. It is right to hope that they will be among the ˹truly˺ guided." (Quran 9:18)

Masjid Al-Izza:

In the House of Allah, our hearts unite in love and obedience to Him. It is the place that brings us tranquility, drawing us closer to Allah Almighty. It is where we dream of paradise where, Insha’Allah, we will be gathered with Him.

 How reassured are our hearts when we are promised paradise?

Uthman ibn Affan reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise.” (Sahih Bukhari)

During the holy month of Ramadan, when rewards are multiplied, we launch the Al-Izza Mosque campaign in the Tariq Residential Complex. Our goal is to provide the residents of the complex with a mosque that facilitates their worship and offers them the opportunity to learn about Islam and the Quran. It will also serve as a temporary educational center until the construction of the Tariq Residential Complex school is completed.

The name "Masjid Al-Izza" was chosen because one of the key values of the martyr Tariq was to preserve the dignity and honor of the beneficiaries, refusing to engage in any action that would degrade or humiliate them for any reason.

You can contribute to the rebuilding of Al-Azza Mosque with any amount, no matter how small, and it will Sadaqah Jaryiah, Insha’Allah.

Anas ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Seven deeds of a servant continue to be rewarded after his death while he is in his grave: knowledge to be learned, constructing a canal, digging a well, planting a date-palm tree, building a mosque, handing down a written copy of the Quran, and leaving a righteous child who seeks forgiveness for him after his death.” (Sahih Muslim)

مسجد العزّة

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

(إِنَّمَا يَعْمُرُ مَسَاجِدَ اللَّهِ مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَأَقَامَ الصَّلاةَ وَآتَى الزَّكَاةَ وَلَمْ يَخْشَ إِلَّا اللَّهَ فَعَسَى أُولَئِكَ أَنْ يَكُونُوا مِنَ الْمُهْتَدِينَ) [التوبة:18].

 مسجد العزة:

في بيت الله، تجتمع قلوبنا على حُبه وطاعته. فهو المكان الذي يشعرنا بالسكينة وبقربنا من الله عز وجل ونحلم بالجنة التي ستجمعنا به إن شاء الله. فكم تطمئن قُلوبنا إن بُشِّرنا بالجنة؟ 

قال عثمان رضي الله عنه: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ: (مَنْ بَنَى مَسْجِدًا لِلَّهِ بَنَى اللَّهُ لَهُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ مِثْلَهُ)). قال ابن حجر: فِيهِ إِشَارَةٌ إِلَى دُخُولِ فَاعِلِ ذَلِكَ الْجَنَّةَ، إِذْ الْمَقْصُودُ بِالْبِنَاءِ لَهُ أَنْ يَسْكُنَهُ، وَهُوَ لَا يَسْكُنُهُ إِلَّا بَعْدَ الدُّخُولِ.

في أيام شهر رمضان المبارك التي يضاعف فيها الأجر، نطلق معكم حملة مسجد العزَة في مجمع طارق السكني لنؤمن لسكان المجمع مسجداً يُسهل عليهم القيام بطاعاتهم ويتيح لهم فرصة التعلم عن ديننا وقرآننا.  كما سيكون مركز تعليم مؤقت ريثما يتم الانتهاء من بناء مدرسة مجمع طارق السكني.

تم اختيار اسم مسجد العزّة لأن أحد أهم القيم للشهيد طارق كانت الحفاظ على كرامة المستفيدين وعزًتهم ورفض القيام بأي عمل قد يذلهم أو يهينهم لأي سبب من الأسباب.

عن أنس بن مالك رضي الله عنه أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: «سبع يجري للعبد أجرهن وهو في قبره بعد موته: من علم علما، أو أجرى نهرا، أو حفر بئرا، أو غرس نخلا، أو بنى مسجدا، أو ورث مصحفا، أو ترك ولدا يستغفر له بعد موته»
