HOPE USA is Working with Flood-Ravaged Communities in Pakistan to Provide Long-Term Rehabilitative Efforts Following the 2022 Pakistan Floods.

The 2022 Pakistan Flood Crisis was the worst nation disaster in Pakistan's history; 33 million people were adversely affected and 2.1 million people lost their homes.  HOPE has been on the frontlines of this disaster relief effort since the crisis struck in August 2022.  To date we have provided 115,000 underserved flood victims with relief in the form of:

  • Cook Food
  • Food Rations
  • Medical Relief
  • Clothing
  • Bedding
  • Slippers
  • Mosquito Nets
  • P&G Pur Sachets to purify contaminated water
  • House Reconstruction

Going forward, HOPE will focus on long-term rehabilitative efforts for flood affectee families.  We will remain a presence in underprivileged communities to provide support in the form of Healthcare, Education, Vocational Training, Food Rations, and Clean Water.

HOPE has been operating in Pakistan for 25 years; we have extensive experience in Disaster Relief and we have been at the forefront of every emergency that has affected Pakistan, from the 2005 Kashmir earthquake to the floods that hit Sindh every few years.  In total we have aided over 500,000 victims of natural disasters.  We are also the only NGO authorized to distribute PuR Proctor & Gamble sachets in Pakistan which are critical during emergencies where clean water becomes near impossible to obtain.  Also, in March 2021 we were awarded a medal by President Arif Alvi for our work in poverty alleviation in Pakistan - we were one of two organizations in Pakistan given this honor by the Pakistan Air Force.

HOPE USA has been on the frontlines of the Pakistan Flood crisis since Day 1.  We have provided aid in urban slums within the Karachi, Pakistan metropolitan area as well as remote and neglected villages in Balochistan and Punjab.  Many roads were excessively flooded so even accessing certain areas becomes a logistical challenge.

We are supporting victims in the form of house reconstruction, distribution of food rations, distribution of biryani, and treating patients who have waterborne illnesses.  All victims of this disaster relief effort are Zakat-eligible and this is a Zakat-eligible cause.

About HOPE USA

Health Oriented Preventive Education (HOPE) was the inspiration of Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla, a pediatrician by profession who helped eradicate polio from Pakistan in the early stages of her career.  Due to Dr. Mubina's medical background, HOPE's initial objective was to provide the poor with better access to medical centers and hospitals.  In a country grappling with basic issues such as lack of access to clean drinking water, poor maternal and infant health, malnutrition in children, prevention and treatment of diseases such as malaria, cholera, and tuberculosis, it already seemed as though HOPE had enough of a challenge on its hands. But soon Dr. Mubina realized that the cornerstone of a productive and forward-thinking community relies on both a healthy body and healthy mind. She honed her vision to an integrative approach that was twofold: health and education.

As a single woman in a male-dominated country, Dr. Mubina faced many challenges and setbacks; it was through perseverance and hard work that HOPE grew from a dream to a reality. Today, HOPE has a countrywide presence throughout Pakistan which includes hospitals, formal schools, informal schools, vocational centers, basic health clinics, mobile health clinics, and maternal health clinics, all which provide free or minimal-cost healthcare and education. Additionally, HOPE has been active in disaster relief efforts throughout Pakistan. We are humbled to say that we have grown to a network of hospitals and schools that treats 500,000 patients and educates 10,000 students per year, mostly women and children.

HOPE Teams up with the Lions Club - Facility Visit to Bring Eyeglasses to Patients at Zia Colony Hospital and Meet School Children

Dear HOPE Friends,

HOPE Teams up with the Lions Club - Facility Visit to Bring Eyeglasses to Patients at Zia Colony Hospital and Meet School Children

In late November 2024, HOPE's loyal supporter and a representative of the Lions Club, Mrs. Shahida Merchant, personally visited HOPE's Zia Colony Hospital and Formal School during her trip to Karachi, Pakistan.  Mrs. Shahida graced both facilities with her warmth, enthusiasm, and genuine desire to bring about a difference in the lives of the needy.

Mrs. Shahida interacted with students of all ages in Zia Colony School and took the opportunity to brighten their day by asking them questions and participating in activities and classroom discussions.

  • HOPE's Zia Colony School is located in an urban slum within Karachi and has been catering to over 600 underserved students in grades Pre-K to high school since 2002.

  • Children who attend Zia Colony Formal School live in "katchi abadi," - literally makeshift houses located in urban slums with no addresses.  They struggle with meeting basic needs such as healthcare, education, and even food security due to their  extremely impoverished backgrounds.

HOPE offers a comprehensive educational curriculum for children born into poverty, one that prepares them to face the world and the challenges that lie ahead, with a focus on instilling a solid foundation by which to break free from the tenacious grip of poverty.  Visits with supporters and mentors such as Mrs. Shahida and the Lions Club are always welcomed as teaching moments.

At Zia Colony Hospital, Mrs. Shahida brought much-needed eyeglasses donated by the Lions Club for our beneficiaries who come to the facility to receive medical treatment.

  • In total, over 185,000 patients are given life-changing medical care at Zia Colony Hospital per year for free/nominal cost.

  • HOPE’s Zia Colony Hospital is the only facility in the area which treats obstetric complications and emergencies.

The Lions Club thoughtful donation of eyeglasses will surely change the lives of many people who struggle with poor vision and cannot afford proper eyewear.

We wish to take a moment to thank Mrs. Shahida and the Lions Club for gracing the lives of so many disadvantaged students and families.  We are especially grateful that Mrs. Shahida took time out of her trip to personally visit with students and patients, and deliver the Lions Clubs' thoughtful gesture of eyeglasses.

Moments like these with our supporters and beneficiaries leave a lasting impact .

Warm regards,

HOPE Joins Forces with Revive Environment and GlobalGiving to Bring Low-Cost, Sustainable Wood Stoves to 480,000 Flood Affectees in Pakistan Following the 2022 Flood Crisis

Dear HOPE Friends,

Whether it’s money, the environment, expertise, or time, the resources at our disposal are undoubtedly the most precious assets that we have.  This is why we are thrilled to share with you the debut of our latest project, an innovative idea which is a win-win-win involving multiple fronts - protecting and saving our earth by reducing the impact of carbon emissions, as well as improving the lives of a staggering almost half a million underserved people, both from a time, money, health, and poverty alleviation ‍ perspective.

The Pakistan Flood Crisis of 2022 was a huge environmental disaster, but it is a trend that highlights the impact climate change is having upon the world at large.  The 2022 floods were not an isolated incident, but rather a shift that has been emerging for decades.  Climate scientists estimate that the devastation of the 2022 Floods in Pakistan (in which of the country was technically under water) was 50% worse due to the effects of global warming.

Due to their location, many countries surrounding the Indian Ocean are more susceptible to the impacts of climate change.  Pakistan contributes less than 1% of global greenhouse gas emissions, yet due to its location, it is one of the countries most vulnerable to effects of global warming.  Sadly, when a country is already grappling with poverty ‍, the brunt of damages often falls heavily upon the most disadvantaged fragments of society.

The visionary behind this project is Mr. Zia Khaleeli, an Oxford-educated entrepreneur, philanthropist, and founder of multiple organizations working towards green solutions such as Revive Environment.  He currently serves as the Chairman of the Environment and Energy Commission for the International Chamber of Commerce in Pakistan , and has an extensive array of both field and technical expertise which has positioned him to be a leading voice of change in sustainable and innovative solutions for Pakistan.

In a first of its kind initiative for Pakistan, Mr. Khaleeli reached out to HOPE to launch and distribute a sustainable and environment-friendly solution to the energy crisis that permeates all aspects of daily life for tens of thousands of people living in poverty.  HOPE will fulfill the logistical distribution and training for this project through the generosity of a Long-Term Flood Rehabilitation grant awarded by GlobalGiving.

Background:

The background of this project dives into daily life in poor communities in Pakistan such as Sujawal and Badin.  These two districts comprise of underserved, congested slum areas in Sindh which lie approximately an hour away from Karachi.  In total, over a million people live in both of these poverty-stricken cities and these communities experienced widespread flooding and devastation during the 2022 Flood Crisis.

The HOPE Pakistan Team conducted a four-month field assessment study amongst 200 families ‍‍‍ in Sujawal to examine the wood-burning stoves that have been a way of life for many for decades due to the lack of gas in rural areas.

Here are Our Findings:

  • Since absolutely no gas is available in rural areas, poverty-stricken families rely entirely upon collecting wood or cow dung to use as fuel for cooking.

  • Large amounts of wood collected translate to a poor use of both time and income for families already struggling to make ends meet.

  • Utilizing traditional wood burning stoves contributes heavily to respiratory illnesses such as asthma, bronchitis, and pneumonia.  For families who are already struggling with poverty ‍ and lack of access to healthcare , this is a practice which lowers their quality of life even more.
  • Lastly, traditional wood stoves contribute to pollution - in fact, globally we have 2.3 billion people who rely on traditional stoves and lack access to clean cooking.  Cooking emissions worldwide are, believe it or not, about the same as the aviation industry.
  •

Here is Our Plan of Action:

  • 60,000 Underserved Families ‍‍‍ (480,000 Beneficiaries Total) in Sujawal and Badin will receive newly designed, portable, energy-efficient wood stoves.  These stoves are a green innovation created by Revive Environment in order to address the reliance upon high volumes of wood or cow dung for fuel in order to cook , and subsequently provide a solution to reduce carbon emissions produced by traditional cooking methods.  Upon official launch of this project, we plan to distribute 2,500 stoves per month to reach 60,000 families over the course of two years.

  • HOPE will execute the logistical aspects of this project - delivering the stoves to 60,000 ‍‍‍ families and providing them with proper training to use them  - via our Long-Term Flood Relief Grant from GlobalGiving.  Revive Environment has also graciously offered to maintain the stoves during that timeframe, thereby assuring that any technical issues (since this is a prototype in Pakistan ) that arise are addressed and remedied.

These stoves will serve as practical, environmentally-friendly, low-cost solution to the severe scarcity of gas (and consequential heavy dependence upon wood as an energy source) which has become a daily part of life for many poor families.

Now as mentioned earlier, this project is remarkable in both its scope, the vast number of beneficiaries, as well as the broad array of long-term benefits.

Long-Term Benefits of the Improved Cookstove Project:

  • Save villagers money by minimizing the fuelwood they need to purchase in order to cook.

  • Reduce the amount of time both adults and children in poor communities expend in order to gather and collect fuelwood , thus allowing adults to seek proper jobs ‍ to improve their financial situation, and enable children to attend school.

  • Empower women in particular by saving them time thus, allowing them to pursue literacy and vocational training.  In rural areas in Pakistan, only 1 in 3 women are able to read and write.

  • The factory to manufacture these stoves has been built locally in Karachi , Pakistan by Mr. Khaleeli in an effort to create jobs for these villagers .

  • Health-wise, the stoves emit very little smoke, thus reducing respiratory diseases which arise from traditional cooking stoves .

  • The stoves are portable and can be used indoors or outdoors, thus maximizing their practicality.

  • Revive Environment’s stoves will reduce the consumption of fuelwood by 40% to 50%, thus lowering our carbon footprint and minimizing the deforestation of local trees .

Concluding Thoughts:

This project is a milestone and the first of its kind in energy efficient solutions for wood stoves in Pakistan and we are humbled to have been selected by Mr. Khaleeli for this noble initiative.  We recognize that trust is an essential component in executing large-scale implementations and we are blessed to have been the NGO of his choice for this endeavor.  Revive Environment's venture will not only provide an energy-efficient solution to cooking for tens of thousands of families ‍‍‍ living in poverty, it comes with the rare combination of a win-win-win on all fronts.

We are grateful to GlobalGiving for their support of our work, especially with regards to 2022 Pakistan Flood Crisis.  Global-Giving's Long-Term Pakistan Flood Crisis grant came at the perfect time, thus ensuring that we will be able to provide the logistical resources and expertise to execute this project to 60,000 underserved families ‍‍‍  who were further debilitated by the 2022 Floods.  Over several years, we have personally built a rapport with GlobalGiving's Disaster Response ‍ Team and their interest, dedication, and excitement at silver lining moments amidst formidable challenges is something to be admired and appreciated.

All praise ultimately goes back to God, and we are blessed to have prestigious organizations such as Revive Environment and GlobalGiving championing our work as well as the support of so many special individual supporters.  Thank you for sharing these milestone moments for us and take care.

Warm regards,

28 Years of Humanitarian Efforts - Historical Honors Awarded to HOPE by the Pakistan Government

Dear HOPE Friends,

28 Years of Humanitarian Efforts - Historical Honors Awarded to HOPE by the Pakistan Government

As a charitable organization celebrating 28 years of poverty alleviation efforts in Pakistan this year, we're thrilled that the Government of Pakistan has recognized and lauded our work throughout our history .

A Few Special Highlights in Our 28 Year Chronicles Include:

  • February 2012 - HOPE Chairperson, Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla received a letter of appreciation on behalf of HOPE from former Chief Minister of Punjab for our Disaster Relief efforts following flooding/monsoons in which we constructed Model Villages using renewable resources such as solar power.

  • July 2014 - Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla received a follow-up thank you memorandum from former Minister of Punjab, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, for HOPE's Ramadan outreach efforts for Internally Displaced Persons in Punjab.

  • September 2021 - Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla traveled to Islamabad to accept an award by Pakistan President Arif Alvi for 25 years of poverty alleviation efforts throughout Pakistan - we were 1 of only 2 organizations to receive this prestigious honor.

In developing countries such as Pakistan , the role of nonprofit organizations (NGOs) plays a significant role in providing relief to needy people who often cannot afford basic services such as Healthcare and Education in order to thrive. The role of a reputable and established NGO becomes even more critical when services provided for underserved communities by the government are lacking in either quality, quantity, accessibility, or affordability.

Having the support of the government sector is essential when an organization is making strides towards reducing poverty ‍ and improving the living conditions of impoverished communities. This recognition and approval of the government sector becomes a vital component in a multi-pronged plan to break the tenacious cycle of generational poverty at a grassroots level.

We're jubilant about celebrating 28 years of poverty alleviation work in Pakistan this year! All praise is owed to God and to our loyal supporters for this success and for being there with us every step of the way .

Cooked Food and Food Rations Delivered to 420 Villagers in Rural Region in Sindh, Pakistan

Dear HOPE Friends,

Cooked Food and Food Rations Delivered to 420 Villagers in Rural Region in Sindh, Pakistan

20% of the general population in Pakistan faces hunger on a daily basis. Pakistan has twice the rate of malnourished people than other countries worldwide . In order to bring relief to thousands who suffer from lack of nutrition and the health consequences that ensue, HOPE has been regularly providing outreach to families with both cooked food and Food Rations for several years.

Our Food Rations project is a beloved donor-initiated idea in which the most financially distraught families in our areas of operation regularly receive Food Rations to help alleviate their dire conditions. Due to the overwhelming generosity of our donors, we have been able scale this project to include dozens of families more than originally anticipated.

The pictures shared are of our most recent distribution of both cooked food and Food Rations in Thatta (a rural area outside of Karachi) in which a total of 300 individuals were given biryani and 120 villagers were provided with food rations to last them one month.

Many thanks to our supporters for joining hands with us to help end hunger .

Bathrooms Constructed to Benefit 500 Villagers in Rural Sindh, Pakistan

Dear HOPE Friends,

Bathrooms Constructed to Benefit 500 Villagers in Rural Sindh, Pakistan

The depths of poverty ‍ within developing countries such as Pakistan can often reach levels that are far beyond poverty conditions in more developed regions such as North America and Europe . As an organization working to alleviate poverty in Pakistan , the HOPE Team works at a grassroots level to improve the lives of communities living in unrecognized abject conditions - one area in which we have an extensive presence is Sujawal, Sindh, Pakistan.

Sujawal is a densely populated rural region in Sindh of approximately one million residents. HOPE has operated a 24/7 charity Hospital in Sujawal which serves 60,000 poor villagers annually for free/nominal cost for two decades.

This month, the HOPE Field Team carried out a project to construct bathrooms to benefit 60 households in Sujawal. Even today, in areas subject to extreme poverty ‍ that has been further aggravated by natural disasters such as the 2022 Pakistan Flood Crisis and political strife within Pakistan , many rural communities such as Sujawal do not have access to proper bathrooms .

A lack of a seemingly basic necessity such as a bathroom leads to a plethora of preventable health issues such as diarrhea and infectious diseases that are transmitted due to poor sanitation and hygiene . When human waste is not contained or handled in a sanitary manner, this exacerbates a vicious loop of easily transmittable diseases. Unfortunately children who are often playing outside unintentionally come in contact with unsanitary areas, thus making them the most vulnerable to developing and transmitting debilitating illnesses.

By constructing bathrooms to benefit 500 villagers in Sujawal, we aim to bring some ease ‍ to their living conditions as well as take a direct stab at tackling preventable health conditions that abound in the rural region.

We are grateful to our supporters who have put their trust in our efforts to bring about lasting change to the lives of thousands.

Warm regards,

400 Villagers Receive P&G Purifier Bundles

Dear HOPE Friends,

HOPE Field Team Distributes P&G Clean Water Bundles to 400 Villagers in Remote Areas of Sindh, Pakistan

As part of our ongoing efforts to provide underserved communities with clean water , HOPE regularly hosts Procter & Gamble Purifier Sachet Demonstrations in rural villages and underserved areas throughout Pakistan .

On September 27th, 2024, families residing on Link Road (a rural, underdeveloped region in Sindh, Pakistan ) attended an interactive class ‍ addressing the importance of clean water (both with regards to consumption as well as preventing the spread of waterborne diseases) and were gifted Purifier kits to take home.

The HOPE Field Team ‍ met with members of the Link Road community to share knowledge about the necessity of consuming clean water and the immediate positive impact that sanitized water can have upon overall health . Each participant was given a purifying kit consisting of a cooler, bucket, muslin cloth, spatula and 120 sachets of P&G Purifiers of water, enough to last each family several months.

Transmission of diseases such as cholera, diarrhea, dysentery, hepatitis A, typhoid, and polio is highly linked to contaminated water sources. Consuming sanitized water is an essential preventative tool for decreasing the spread of waterborne diseases, especially in marginalized communities which face multiple barriers to accessing healthcare.

A single P&G Purifier sachet removes harmful contaminants for 10 litersof contaminated water, thus making it suitable for consumption and cooking . Additionally, in comparison to other products on the market, P&G Purifier sachets leave no salty or sour aftertaste, thereby making it more likely that families will actually utilize them.

The HOPE Team is humbled to feature our long-standing partnership with Procter & Gamble, one in which we work together to promote clean water efforts via multiple outreach activities. In fact, this collaboration is so exceptional that we are the only non-governmental organization (NGO) to be given this honor by Procter & Gamble in Pakistan .

Many thanks to the P&G Team as well as our supporters for helping us better the lives of those living in abject poverty ‍!

Warm regards,

HOPE Debuts New Home School for an Additional 50 Underserved Children in Azad Kashmir

Dear HOPE Friends,

HOPE Debuts New Home School ? for an Additional 50 Underserved Children in Azad Kashmir ?️

On September 28th, 2024, with the official support of the Azad Kashmir ?️ Government, we debuted a new Home School ? situated in the mountaintops of a remote village ? in Pakistan ?? known as Bani Langrial.  HOPE's Bani Langrial Home School is a welcome addition to our existing network of 40 Home Schools scattered throughout the high altitude regions of Azad Kashmir ?️ which cater to a total of 2,000 disadvantaged students ??‍?.

We are especially honored that the Azad Kashmir District Officers of Education ? and Healthcare ? both made it a priority to attend and officiate the launch of HOPE's Home School which will serve 50 young, underprivileged students ??‍?.  While this Home School will be operated and funded by HOPE, we are abundantly grateful ? to have embarked on this endeavor for the children of Bani Langrial with the blessing and cooperation of the Azad Kashmir ?️ Government.

HOPE's Home School in Bani Langrial ?️ will cater specifically to children under the age of 10 years.  This region is so steeped in poverty, remote, and difficult to traverse that for generations, parents were not able physically transport their children to the nearest school on a regular basis.  Unfortunately, the default then became that the children of Bani Langrial would not attend school ? until they were a bit older and able to walk to and from the premises safely on their own.  Therefore, their opportunity to attain a solid education ? was stifled at the onset and the cycle of poverty ❤️‍? was inevitably reinforced and carried into the future.  The establishment of a Home School for young children within their village is a proactive measure to circumvent this obstacle and bring education ?right to their doorsteps.

Throughout underserved regions of Pakistan ??, our education facilities ? are comprised of 70% female students, but in even more difficult to access areas such as Azad Kashmir ?️, this percentage increases to 80% as the barriers for girls attaining an education rise substantially.

As always, our appreciation ? to our gracious donors  whose trust and support makes it possible to initiate palpable differences in the lives of thousands ✨.

Warm regards,

True Narration of the Life of a Pregnant Mother Saved

Dear HOPE Friends,

True Narration of the Life ? of a Pregnant Mother ?? Saved ??‍♀️ by Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla

https://youtu.be/xF0_wWw4SbQ?feature=shared

Here's a personal narration ? by HOPE Pakistan Founder, Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla in which she recounts a perilous night's events in January 2024.  This life-saving event occurred during the HOPE Pakistan Team's regular trips to Azad Kashmir ?️ and the Northern Areas ⛰️ of Pakistan ??.

Some Background:

Over the years we've been slowly working to improve access to healthcare ? in rural ? and remote areas of Pakistan ?? as well as underserved slums ?.  Due to poverty ❤️‍? rates of approximately 25 to 40%, inadequate and sub-par healthcare ? (along with rising illiteracy ?) still remains the most predominant force underlying the vitality of Pakistan ?? as a whole.

In particular, we have taken active steps to reduce Pakistan's Maternal ??and Infant ? Mortality rates.  We've tackled the window of opportunity that has presented itself in which research-backed statistics prove that up to 33% of Maternal ??deaths and 80% of Infant ?? deaths in Pakistan ?? are preventable.

Along the way, we have been extremely blessed ✨ to have the support of thousands ? who have allowed us to reach underserved areas and work towards making a difference.  True statistical change ? occurs over a period of years and decades - it's only then that we can step away and examine the overall impact our efforts have had on the landscape of poverty ❤️‍? as a whole.  However, on an everyday basis, we are blessed ? to be making a tangible impact in the lives of many.  We would like to share some of those stories in order to bring these people to life and illustrate the impact of sincere gestures and how planting a seed ? can have massive ramifications.

Inspiration and Acknowledgment:

Just as we are working within the windows ? of opportunity ✨_that present themselves to us, we've been blessed ? to have the support of donors and organizations who have recognized these windows ? of opportunity ✨ and took action to work with our team.  One of the most transformative impacts has come from Yusuf Foundation.

Yusuf Foundation was inspired by a dream ✨ to bring healthcare ? to rural areas ? in Pakistan ??, driven by a personal account of one member of the family and knowing how much her own mother ??‍? struggled due to giving birth in her own home ?.  This dream ✨ sparked the fuel for Yusuf Foundation and in 2021, Yusuf Foundation put their trust in us to construct three Maternal and Child Healthcare Centers ? in the Northern Areas ⛰️ of Pakistan ??.

Over the next year and a half ?, we worked to launch these health centers ?, and by the Grace of God, they have become larger than life, each currently serving over 30,000 villagers ? per year.  In the past six months, we expanded the centers, including our Azad Kashmir one (constructed largely by Darul Sadaqa786 and private donors) to 12 hour per day operations.  By 2025, Yusuf Foundation has generously pledged to have these centers operating almost as mini-hospitals and open for services 24 hours per day.  By then, we expect the capacity to double, and the in-patient capacity to increase ten-fold ?.  By 2025, we anticipate reaching 200,000 patients in all four facilities ?.

Dr. Mubina's narrative is a testament to the power of inspiration ✨and good intentions ?.  Yusuf Foundation's MCHC's ? have become larger than life and a central aspect to these villages ?.  Just in the next trip after the establishment of the Mansehra Center, Dr. Mubina was presented with a letter ? signed by the village elders in which appreciation and gratitude ?? were expressed along with the desire for longer hours.

? These communities were in such dire need of access to affordable and quality medical care ? that these MCHCs ? are becoming larger than life and taking on an even greater role to the communities than we ever anticipated.

? The mere presence of a medical facility in these areas has given hope to thousands of villagers who could not access healthcare due to cost and/or distance.“It was a dark night ? and I was sleeping ? in the Maternal & Child Health Center ? in a remote village ? around 20 miles away from Mansehra, KPK ⛰️, Pakistan ??.

Here is Dr. Mubina's Narration:

"It was a dark night ?.  Around 2:00/2:30 am, we were awakened by a knock at the door ?.  A young man ??‍♂️ walked in, carrying in his arms an approximately 25 year old woman ??.  Behind him was his mother in law.

They came in, the woman was completely collapsed, and she was hardly breathing ?.  In fact, her breathing was very shallow.

It was an emergency ?.  I tried to revive the woman, but she was not responding.  She was completely collapsed and unconscious ❤️‍?.

I tried passing an IV, but her veins were collapsed.  I could not feel her pulse, nor was her blood pressure? measurable.

The [mother in law] starting crying ? and me and my staff started preparing emergency ?measures.  We gave her some oxygen ?.  Since it was difficult to find the vein, I immediately passed a nasogastric tube.

She had been vomiting at home and was a few months pregnant ??.  Her veins started becoming visible and we passed an IV.  Once the IV was passed, we gave her fluids ? very fast.

After passing the nasogastric tube, we started giving her oral rehydration fluids ?, step by step.  In half an hour ?, her dehydration decreased, she got a bit better, and started responding.

And half an hour ? after that, she started coming back and started responding a bit.  The nearest hospital ? from here was around 1 to 1.5 hours away.

The woman would have collapsed and died, had first-aid ? treatment not been given to her.  Once she was revived, then she started responding a bit.  We then sent her in an ambulance ? to the nearest tertiary care hospital ?.”

Truly making a dent in the landscape of poverty ❤️‍? is not an easy feat and we're blessed that with hard work and perseverance ✨, we've been able to take advantage of windows ? of opportunity ✨ as they present themselves.  Transformational moments arise when energies and intentions ✨ come together and we are blessed ?to have the backing of an organization as inspiring as Yusuf Foundation.

Warm regards,

Activities included story-telling 📚, working on puzzles 🧩 together, and conversations about future aspirations ✨ and career goals 👩🏻‍🔬. The children felt connected, uplifted and motivated ✨ following this kind gesture❣️ by initiated by Target.

Over the course of 25 years, HOPE has employed a multi-pronged approach towards poverty alleviation which includes Healthcare 🩺, Education 🎓, Vocational Training 💻, Clean Water 💦, Disaster Relief ⛑️, Ramadan Activities ☪️, and Qurbani 🐏. Within these frameworks, we have also made it a priority to interweave mental well-being 😊 projects into our services to those less fortunate ❤️‍🩹. We actively encourage and promote various measures which instill a sense of security for our beneficiaries, and especially vulnerable children 🧒🏻.

We would like to take this opportunity to extend our appreciation🌹 and gratitude 💐 to Target volunteers for their dedication to creating lasting memories for underprivileged children 🧒🏻 who attend Zia Colony School 🏫. Zia Colony is an extremely poor district within Karachi 🌆, Pakistan 🇵🇰. HOPE's Zia Colony School 🏫 was established in 2002 through the generosity of the Embassy of Japan 🇯🇵. It currently serves as the educational 📚 hub for 800 disadvantaged students 👩🏻‍🎓.

Many thanks 💝 to Target for their gracious support throughout the years and to their volunteers for going the extra mile to ignite a lasting impact!

HOPE and Asia Petroleum Join Hands to Renew Healthcare for Villagers

Dear HOPE Friends,

HOPE and Asia Petroleum Join Hands 🤝🏼 to Renew Healthcare 🩺 for Remote Villagers 🛖

This week, HOPE Pakistan Founder, Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla, met with Asia Petroleum executives to renew HOPE's Mobile Health Unit (MHU) collaboration, an ongoing effort which has recently celebrated 14 strong years 🏆 of services for the poor.

Asia Petroleum has magnanimously sponsored healthcare 🩺 for approximately 15 remote villages 🛖 in Balochistan and Sindh, Pakistan 🇵🇰 via HOPE's two MHUs since 2010.

The concept of a MHU stems from HOPE's mission to provide underserved populations in Pakistan 🇵🇰 with poverty alleviation ❤️‍🩹 services such as Healthcare 🩺, Education 🎒, and Vocational Training 👩🏻‍💻.

As the name implies, HOPE's MHUs provide basic health services 🩺 to remote villages 🛖 which would otherwise not have access to essential care❣️. Special emphasis is given to advancing necessary, life-saving healthcare to vulnerable populations, and within these parameters we take extra strides to reach women 👩🏻 and children 🧒🏻 who are often at a disadvantage when it comes to receiving critical interventions.

In 2023, a total of 72,384 patients were treated in both of HOPE’s Mobile Health Clinics. This included: 39,936 children 🧒🏻, 17,472 men 🧔🏻‍♂️, and 14,976 women 👩🏻.

HOPE's MHUs provide the following healthcare services to remote villages 🛖 in Balochistan and Sindh:

🔶 Treating communicable diseases such as diarrhea, respiratory infections 🫁, vomiting 🤢, and noncommunicable diseases such as malnutrition 😩

    🔶 Basic medical services 🩺

🔶 Gynecologic and obstetric care 👩🏻‍🍼

💕 We are excited to embark on yet another fruitful year of providing services to underprivileged populations with the generosity of Asia Petroleum. We are so thankful for our long-standing partnership with Asia Petroleum and for the measurable impact this collaboration has made upon underserved populations in Pakistan ✨.

Warm regards,

The HOPE USA 🇺🇸 🇵🇰, HOPE UK 🇬🇧 🇵🇰, and HOPE Pakistan 🇵🇰 Teams

HOPE Team Delivers Biryani to 1,500 Needy People Across Pakistan

Dear HOPE Friends,

HOPE Team Delivers Biryani 🥘 to 1,500 Needy People Across Pakistan 🇵🇰

As part of our efforts towards reducing hunger 😩 and malnutrition 🚫 in Pakistan 🇵🇰, the HOPE field team regularly distributes cooked food 🍱to constituents in various underserved neighborhoods and villages 🛖 throughout the country. Last week, we ramped up our outreach and served over 1,500 packets of biryani 🥘 to all areas in which we operate in Pakistan 🇵🇰.

Below is a collage representing our biryani distribution which took place between July 12 and July 15, 2024. Areas reached included our MCHCs in the Northern Areas 🏔️ (Garhi Habibullah and Mansehra, KPK along with Langarpura, Azad Kashmir) disadvantaged slum areas in Karachi 🌆, Sindh (Zia Colony and 100 Quarters), large poor districts 🏙️ outside of Karachi, Sindh (Thatta and Sujawal), and remote village 🛖 regions within Sindh (Link Road in Ghaggar).

Food security 😋 is a growing need in Pakistan 🇵🇰 and around the world 🌍, especially after the Covid-19 😷 pandemic triggered excessive inflation 📈 across many countries. In Pakistan 🇵🇰, the aftermath of the 2022 Flood Crisis 🌊 and political instability have further exacerbated the need to fight hunger 😩 amidst a rising 📊 poor population. In an effort to assuage the pressing situation, HOPE has incorporated two main ways by which we are directly combatting hunger in Pakistan 🇵🇰:

🔶 Monthly Food Rations Distribution - Just $33 provides dry food rations 🍱 for a family of 8 for one month

🔶 Cooked Food Distribution - Just $1 sponsors a hot meal of biryani 🥘 delivered to a Zakat-eligible person

Our Food Rations 🍱 program is a donor-initiated idea which started off as a humble project to provide food essentials 🍱 to 22 of our most needy families within the Karachi 🌆 metropolitan area and has catapulted ⚡ to become an established staple in our poverty alleviation portfolio. Alongside with the regular monthly distribution of food rations 🍱, we reinforce these food security efforts by serving cooked food such as biryani 🥘 on various occasions throughout the year 📆 .

FDI World Dental Federation Sponsors Dental Camp for Students at HOPE's Zia Colony School

Dear HOPE Friends,

FDI World Dental 🪥 Federation Sponsors Dental 🦷 Camp for Students 🧒🏻 at HOPE's Zia Colony Formal School 🏫

A Couple of Days Prior to the Advent of Ramadan ☪️ this Year, 300 Students 🧒🏻 at HOPE's Zia Colony Formal School 🏫 Participated in a Dental Camp 🦷 Organized by the Pakistan Association of Dental Students 🇵🇰, under the leadership of the FDI World Dental Federation 🌎.

FDI is the leading voice of the dental profession 🦷 and represents over one million dentists globally 🌎. The Pakistan Association of Dental Students is a subset of FDI's footprint in Pakistan 🇵🇰.

Oftentimes for both children and adults living below the poverty level ❤️‍🩹, the importance of dental hygiene 🦷 is completely overshadowed by the lack 🚫 of basic needs such as shelter 🏚️ and food 🍔. However, poor oral health can open the door to an array of serious health 🩺 issues. This is why HOPE was so appreciative and welcoming when PADS, a subset of FDI approached us to have a day dedicated to teaching young students at Zia Colony School 🏫 about the basics of dental health 🦷.

PADS representatives arrived to Zia Colony School 🏫 early in the morning 🌅 and set up stations to teach small groups of students 🧒🏻 from preschool through third grade. Among the topics covered were how to correctly brush teeth 🪥 and the importance of oral health 🦷. Students listened with great enthusiasm and were also given toothpaste to take home 🏚️.

We wish to extend our gratitude 💝 to PADS and FDI for including HOPE's Zia Colony School 🏫 in this wonderful outreach initiative which was a valuable ✨ learning lesson for our children 🧒🏻. We are so appreciative of any opportunities in which our children can build a tool kit 🧰 for themselves and amass a repertoire to break free from the tenacious cycle of poverty ❤️‍🩹.

We're On a Mission to Spread Smiles This Ramadan With Eid Clothes!

Dear HOPE Friends,

❤️ Gift a Needy Child Eid Clothes This Ramadan❤️

🦺 As Has Been our Tradition for the Past 15 years, We Are on a Mission to Spread Smiles This Ramadan!

🎁 By gifting needy children across Pakistan with Eid clothes, we address the critical, yet often overlooked psychosocial aspect of freedom from poverty.

You can participate in this effort by donating any amount towards our Eid Clothes campaign - each outfit is $17 and this cause is Zakat-Eligible. 🎉

The Pictures Represent our 2024 Eid Clothes Distribution from the Past Few Days. 💝

A new Eid outfit has numerous benefits, many of which are intangible.  Often one can establish various pragmatic avenues to poverty alleviation, however the psychosocial development of children is not addressed as effectively with an exclusive focus on basic needs.  After all, how can children overcome poverty if their mindset is still trapped in their past?

Darul Sadaqa786 More Than Doubles ? HOPE USA's Goal of Pakistan Flood Relief House Construction

Dear HOPE Friends,

https://youtu.be/ayov-fK3VRo

Please watch our House Reconstruction Video Above!

Over the course of 2022 and early 2023, fundraising powerhouse, Darul Sadaqa786, stealthily worked behind the scenes to surprise HOPE USA with a magnanimous grant to fund a total of 51 houses 🏚️ for victims of the 2022 Pakistan Flood 🌊 Crisis.

Overall, this grand gesture more than doubles 📊 HOPE USA's initial target of 25 houses 🏚️, and combined with private donations, a total of 59 houses 🏚️ have been donated to victims of disastrous flooding 🌊 that began in August 2022. Overall, almost 500 needy people have received housing assistance from HOPE's Flood Relief House Reconstruction Project.

HOPE's field team ⛑️ conducted extensive assessments to determine the most needy families in flood-ravaged 🌊 areas of Sindh, Pakistan who would receive housing 🏚️. Special consideration was given to those who had lost all their meager belongings in the floods, the elderly 👵🏽, orphans 👩🏻‍🤝‍👩🏽, and disabled people ♿ . All of our beneficiaries were already living below the poverty line prior to this disaster and plunged into even more dire straits following the floods.

HOPE USA has been a frontrunner 🏃🏻‍♀️ in providing aid to victims of the 2022 Pakistan Flood Crisis that left one-third of the country under water for half of 2022. In total thus far we have provided aid to over 115,000 victims of this national disaster. Our relief spanned all forms: Cooked Food 🥘, Food Rations 🍱 , Clean Water 💧, Medical Relief 🚑 , Temporary Shelter 🛖 , Mosquito Nets 🦟 , Clothing 👕 , Slippers 🩴 , Bedding 🛏️ , and Permanent Housing 🏚️ and included all areas in Pakistan which were in dire need of aid.

The video accompanying this update speaks volumes for the gratitude both the recipients of the houses 🏚️ exuded along with the HOPE Team towards Darul Sadaqa786 for entrusting us with this noble endeavor. Providing a house for a family is the beginning of creating a home in which an atmosphere of love 💖 and security 🗝️ can flourish, both critical for long-term psychosocial breakthroughs in poverty alleviation.

Darul Sadaqa786 was founded by Sister Iffath Hasan, a self-taught Hafizah 📖 of the Quran who, along with managing this nonprofit, conducts various free Islamic 🕌 classes ranging from Arabic grammar to Character Building for women. She is also the author of Quranic Arabic Made Easy, a best-selling Quranic Arabic grammar book 📔 which has received accolades for its organization and teaching methodology.

Darul Sadaqa786 has been a long-standing and regular behind the scenes supporter of all of HOPE's various poverty alleviation initiatives ranging from Healthcare 🏥 to Education 🏫 to Vocational Training 💻 to Clean Water💧 to Ramadan Activities ☪️ to Qurbani 🕋 to Disaster Relief 🚑.

HOPE is extremely grateful to have earned Darul Sadaqa786's trust and support for several years and are immensely appreciative of their never-ending generosity. We are especially appreciative to Darul Sadaqa786 for sponsoring the majority of HOPE's Covid-19 Life-Saving Equipment acquisition 🔬 for Hospitals, the construction of our Azad Kashmir Maternal & Child Health Center 🏥 , and funding the vast majority of HOPE's Pakistan Flood Crisis Housing Project 🏘️.

The HOPE Team is imbued with sincere appreciation and prayers 💝 to Sister Iffath Hasan and Darul Sadaqa786 for this collaborative effort which has provided housing to over 500 extremely needy individuals. We hope that the accompanying reel 🎥 will speak for itself in terms of the tremendous impact that has already had on those who have very little!

Due to the extensive nature of the 2022 Pakistan Flood Crisis, HOPE will remain an active force in long-term rehabilitative efforts for victims. You may still contribute towards a new house 🏚️ for a family (just $1,500, both Zakat-Eligible and a Sadaqa Jaariayah effort) or any other relief efforts by the following:

🔷 Website: https://www.hopecharityusa.org (Select Pakistan Flood Relief or Housing Reconstruction option from the dropdown menu)

 🔷 LaunchGood Campaign: https://www.launchgood.com/HOPEUSAKarachiFlood

Thank you once again to Darul Sadaqa786 along with our private donors who have been the fuel behind this incredible momentum to assist victims of the 2022 Pakistan Flood Crisis!

HOPE Surpasses Pakistan Flood House Reconstruction Project Goals with Grand Slam Efforts by Darul Sadaqa 786 and Private Donors

Dear HOPE Friends,

Over the past two months HOPE USA has been working on one of the most humbling aspects of disaster relief pertaining to the 2022 Pakistan Flood Crisis - house reconstruction for flood affectee families. We are ever so grateful for the success of this project which has largely been sponsored by Darul Sadaqa 786, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit which has a long-standing relationship in a multitude of HOPE's poverty alleviation avenues.

Together with funding from private donors and Darul Sadaqa 786, HOPE has exceeded the initial goal of 25 houses and we will be constructing an additional 4 houses to benefit a total of 29 families (232 beneficiaries total).

Prior to embarking on this project, HOPE surveyed the areas of flood destruction and focused on families who had literally lost everything in the floods and were living in makeshift homes. Our beneficiaries for this project include widows, blind people, disabled people, orphans, and other disadvantaged people. We have constructed housing in Larkana, Shikarpur, and Sujawal, three areas which experienced widespread damage following the floods.

The HOPE Team would like to extend our gratitude to Darul Sadaqa 786 along with our private donors who have so generously funded this Zakat-eligible/Sadaqa Jaariyah project. Each house costs $1,500 and is a concrete structure which protects families from the basics and includes the essentials. This project is a rare combination opportunity for a Zakat-eligible as well as a Sadaqa Jaariyah cause as the families will own the homes and pass them down to their children.

Darul Sadaqa 786 has generously sponsored a whopping 23 out of a total of 29 houses for this particular reconstruction project. As witnessed by HOPE USA, Darul Sadaqa 786, literally "House of Charity" has lived up to its name time and time again. HOPE USA is especially appreciative for their trust in not only this project, but various other poverty alleviation measures ranging from the construction of our Kashmir Maternal and Child Health Center to equipping our hospitals with Covid-19 equipment such as ventilators to regularly supporting our hospitals and home schools and participating in Ramadan and Qurbani activities, amongst others. Darul Sadaqa 786 was founded by Sister Iffath Hasan, a self-taught hafizah of the Quran who along with managing this nonprofit, conducts various free Islamic classes ranging from Arabic grammar to Character Building for women.

If you would like to donate towards our House Reconstruction Zakat-eligible cause or any of our poverty alleviation measures in Pakistan, you may do so via the following:

The HOPE USA Website: https://www.hopecharityusa.org/donate-today (Tax receipt generated automatically.)

Zelle: hopeusa@hope-ngo.com (Please make sure to include an email address for a tax receipt.)

Mailing a Check: HOPE USA, PO BOX 786, Newark, CA 94560. (Please include your email address for a tax receipt.)

In total, we are humbled to say that our beneficiary count for the 2022 Pakistan Flood Relief Crisis has exceeded 100,000 individuals.

Once again, our heartfelt appreciation to all our supporters for their generosity which has enabled us to change the lives of those who have lost everything.

Warm regards,

The HOPE USA Team

In the last two weeks, as Pakistan flood waters finally began the long-awaited process of recession (six-months post floods), the HOPE USA team kicked off house reconstruction for flood affectee families. This is life-changing Zakat-eligible effort in which the families will own their new homes.

We are still accepting donations for this cause - each house is $1,500 and you can donate towards a full or partial house (whatever you can afford) and create a Sadaqa Jaariyah for yourselves and your families.

Our homes are located in heavily damaged districts in Sindh: Larkana, Shikarpur, and Sujawal. We have spent extensive time evaluating the needs of the flood affectee families - all of them are living well-below the poverty line and are either widows with young children, disabled/handicapped, orphans, and other dire situations.

12,000+ Pakistan Flood Affectees Receive Relief in HOPE USA/Asia Petroleum Collaboration

Dear HOPE Friends,

12,000+ Pakistan Flood Affectees Receive Relief in HOPE USA/Asia Petroleum Collaboration

Last week, over 12,000 victims of the recent Pakistan Floods were provided relief in the form of one-month food ration bags, Procter & Gamble Purifier water sachets, and mosquito nets in a collaborative effort carried out by HOPE USA and Asia Petroleum Limited.

With current flood water recession estimates remaining at the six-month mark, Pakistan Flood victims - many who were already living well below the poverty line - are in acute need of long-term rehabilitative efforts, both from a basic necessities and psychosocial standpoint.

Since HOPE USA's mission is to end poverty in Pakistan, we will be heavily invested in intervention efforts which aim to help rebuild Pakistan Flood victims' lives from scratch.

You may donate towards HOPE USA's Pakistan Flood Relief mission via:

The HOPE USA Website: https://www.hopecharityusa.org (Tax receipt generated automatically.)

Zelle: hopeusa@hope-ngo.com (Please make sure to include an email address for a tax receipt).

Mailing a Check: HOPE USA, PO BOX 786, Newark, CA 94560. (Please include your email address for a tax receipt.)

In last week's cooperative initiative with Asia Petroleum, HOPE USA tackled heavily-hit areas in Sindh including: Larkana, Kumb Village, Ranipur, Mitiari, Pir Ali Shah Village, Mehar Village, Baqrani Village, Dadu, and Muhammad Usman Khuso Village. During this emergency effort, we provided flood affectees with one-month ration bags containing the following:

Milk Powder: 1 kg
Cooking Oil: 5 kg
Sugar: 5 kg
Rice: 5 kg
Wheat Flour: 10 kg
Lentils (Dal): 5 kg
Tea: 1 kg
Salt: 3 pouches
Dates: 1 kg

In addition, beneficiaries were supplied with a one-month supply of Procter & Gamble Purifier sachets - sediments that purify and filter polluted water to make it safe to consume. The provision of clean water is a preventative and proactive measure rolled into one: clean water provides not only a drinking/cooking source for beneficiaries, it prevents the spread of waterborne illnesses such as gastroenteritis and diarrhea.

Lastly, families were provided with mosquito nets which have become a crucial commodity due to the spike in potentially fatal illnesses such as dengue fever and malaria, both transmitted by mosquitoes.

Thank you to all our supporters for your trust in our work and your endless generosity to alleviate the plight of the poor in Pakistan!

Warm regards,

The HOPE USA Team

8,800 Pakistan Flood Victims in Heavily Hit Districts Receive Aid

8,800 Pakistan Flood Victims in Heavily Hit Districts Receive Aid

The HOPE USA Team has resumed field work in the province of Sindh which is still reeling from multiple districts suffering from extensive flood damage. This week we revisited Badin, Larkana, Dadu, and Shikarpur and distributed relief to over 8,800 individuals. Our aid to victims includes cooked food, food rations, clothing/slippers, and mosquito nets (a high demand commodity due to the sharp rise in dengue and malaria cases), as well as a medical camp (800 patients).

HOPE USA is delivering relief to areas which have borne the brunt of flood damage and whose residents are already living well below the poverty line. We are an active presence in districts which have received little to no intervention thus far.

A simple donation can bring needed essentials to those who deserve it most. This campaign is Zakat-Eligible.

A generous donor of CryptoZakat is still matching the first $100 of donations to HOPE USA’s Pakistan Flood Relief campaign. Click on this link: https://www.every.org/hopecharityusa?donateTo=hopecharityusa#/donate/card to take advantage of maximizing your impact.

Some recent grantors include Procter & Gamble, Paypal, Target Corporation, US Aid, Unicef, and the Centers for Disease Control. Additionally, HOPE USA has received corporate matches from Cisco, Microsoft, Salesforce, Oracle, Facebook, Linked In, Adobe, Paypal, Mastercard, and Dreyers.

HOPE USA is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) boasting some of the lowest overhead rates one will see in the nonprofit realm (less than 3 percent). In 2021 we were awarded a medal by Pakistan President Arif Alvi for our poverty alleviation model in Pakistan – we were 1 of just 2 organizations to receive this honor. We are also the only authorized distributer of Procter & Gamble PuR water sachets in Pakistan which become critical during times of natural disasters such as the current flooding crisis.

HOPE Pumps Out Relief to 8,000+ Flood Victims in Balochistan

Dear HOPE Friends,

HOPE USA Pumps Out Relief to 8,000 Balochistan Flood Victims in Collaboration with Gasoline Conglomerate Asia Petroleum

Yesterday,
HOPE USA executed relief in the form of food rations, clothing, bedding, biscuits, and dates to over 8,000 flood victims in Balochistan, Pakistan. We are proud to have collaborated with our long-standing partner and gasoline conglomerate, Asia Petroleum for this noble initiative. Over the next four days we will be providing relief to the following areas: Sujawal, Badin, Thatta, Swat Valley, and Rajanpur, Punjab.

Asia Petroleum has partnered with HOPE for the past 15 years in various poverty alleviation models throughout Pakistan. Most notably, Asia Petroleum sponsors the operations of our Mobile Health Units in Hub, Balochistan. These MHU's deliver free healthcare to over 70,000 villagers per year; doctors visit remote villages in Hub on a biweekly rotational basis to treat underserved patients who do not otherwise have access to healthcare; 70 percent of our MHU patients are women and children.

We are grateful to Allah SWT for His Mercy upon us, our generous supporters like you, and our partnerships with large corporations such as Asia Petroleum who have vetted us, trust us, and are eager to make a difference in the lives of those who deserve it most.

Karachi Flood Relief Efforts are Going Strong!

Dear HOPE Friends,

By the Grace of Allah SWT, our Karachi Flood Relief efforts are going strong! Thank you sincerely to all our donors who have pitched in for this calamitous natural disaster.

HOPE has been operating in Pakistan for 24 years; we have extensive experience in Disaster Relief and we have been at the forefront of every emergency that has affected Pakistan, from the 2005 Kashmir earthquake to the floods that hit Sindh every few years. In total we have aided over 50,000 victims of natural disasters.

HOPE USA is on the frontlines of the Karachi flood crisis. We are providing aid in the urban slums within the Karachi, Pakistan metropolitan area as well as remote and neglected villages in Balochistan and Punjab. Many roads are excessively flooded so even accessing certain areas becomes a logistical challenge.

We are supporting victims in the form of house reconstruction, distribution of food rations, distribution of biryani, and treating patients who have waterborne illnesses. All victims of this disaster relief effort are Zakat-eligible and this is a Zakat-eligible cause.

If you would like to make an impact today:

House reconstruction - variable but can range from $500 to $1,000

Food Ration Bag - $33/family of eight for one month

Biryani - $4/family of four

Medical aid - $5/patient

You can donate via our website by clicking on the blue buttons and selecting "2022 Karachi Emergency Flood Relief" or Zelle us at hopeusa@hope-ngo.com. Please be sure to include your email address so that we can send you a tax receipt.
