Currently, the Masjid is unable to accommodate the entire local community and we are having to hire a separate hall at an additional cost to perform Jumu'ah. In addition, there are no Muslim funeral services in the local area.
Your generous support will help us acquire the necessary space for larger congregations and contribute to our community members' well-being by providing essential funeral services.
RasulAllah ﷺ said, “Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise.” - Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 450, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 533
Please donate however much you can and make du’a for the Masjid (please note this is NOT Zakat eligible)
The Masjid faces overcrowding during Ramadan and other busy periods of the year, the current facilities at Northolt Islamic Centre are becoming inadequate for the increasing congregation, leading us to sadly turn away members of the local community.
Moreover, there is a pressing need for Muslim Funeral Services in our area, serving Northolt, Ruislip, Greenford and Harrow.
Below you will find the current space we have allocated to establishing Northolt's first ever Muslim funeral centre. The funeral centre will include facilities for washing, shrouding as well as a morgue.
Situated in Greater London just off of the Target roundabout on the A40, Northolt Islamic Centre started as a small musallah in 2016. Alhamdulillah, in 2019 through Allah's tawfiq and the generosity of the local community we purchased the building pictured below- 159 Church Road, Northolt, UB5 5AG.
Alhamdulillah, planning permission was granted in the same year and building work commenced to convert the ground floor into a Masjid. Our contractors promised to complete the project before Ramadan 2020/1441 however, the Covid-19 pandemic brought a halt to the work.
The photo below is of our former main hall where the maximum capacity was previously 80 musalleen at the time.
In 2022, we carried out further works in the form of an extension, alhamdulillah these works were completed in time for Ramadan 2023/1444 which increased our total capacity to 250 musalleen. This extension allowed us to not only increase our capacity but to also provide a dedicated space for a much needed funeral service which is underneath the staircase in the photo below.
