Despite bombing, displacement, and fatigue, our team in Gaza continues to provide nourishing food parcels to families. We purchase supplies from a trusted local vendor, depending on what is available and when. Prices are constantly changing and can even vary from one area to another. Our team in Gaza carefully assembles each food parcel and then contacts families to collect parcels at a safe location ensuring safety and dignity.

Right now, we are supporting PKU patients and families of severely malnourished children.

• For Phenylketonuria (PKU) patients, every meal is critical. This rare genetic condition makes protein dangerous to consume—even in the smallest amounts. Without access to specialized medical foods, blocked by the war, fresh vegetables are the only safe option for them. Rebuilding Alliance has completed six rounds of emergency vegetable parcels for 194 PKU patients, each one carefully packed with fresh vegetables and fruits to help keep these children healthy and safe.
• Our CBO partner in Gaza, Ard El Insan, has identified 500 families with severely malnourished children. Using their list, we provide food parcels containing two weeks’ worth of supplies—enough for all family members.

Rebuilding Alliance's Hot Meals Program in Gaza

From November 2023 until May 31, 2025, Rebuilding Alliance ran a hot meals program in Gaza. Our kitchens were operated by local community-based organization partners. Our brave CBO partners, along with their staff members and volunteers, cooked through extreme hardship and danger. They continued operating even when ingredients were scarce, using whatever was available locally or provided by the World Food Programme. In total, our community kitchens served 22.5 million meals.
