Ramadan serves as a reminder of the hardship that millions of people living in poverty endure daily. We must ensure that people always have enough to eat, especially at the end of a fast when people need to replenish themselves.

The Covid-19 effect
Each year at the beginning of Ramadan prices of all staples had increased significantly. However, the outbreak of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) will make this Ramadan even more difficult upon the poor and the needy. The virus will put further strain on daily wage earners, who already struggling to feed their families.
The appeal
Acts of charity are emphasized at Ramadan, which is a time in which good deeds are multiplied. Hope you are willing to increase your charitable giving at this time. Your donations will help us to share food with families who regularly go hungry in the poverty stricken areas of Bangladesh.

New dress for Orphans
The underprivileged children are not having proper dresses to wear. They always depending on the mercy of local donors who give used dresses of their children. Some times they feel pity for themselves to wear worn out and old dresses. This project will also solve discontent of 50 abandoned orphan children.
Use of Proceeds
This project will provide food packs among 100 most vulnerable families. The food packs may consist of Rice- 10 Kgs ($6), Dal (Lentils/Pulses)- 2 Kg ($3), Spices ($1), Salt- 1 Kg ($0.5), Sugar-1 Kg ($1), Soybean Oil- 2 ltrs ($5), Potato-5 Kg ($1.5), 2 Hand Soaps etc. and the cost of each food pack will be around $20. With rest of the money we will buy new dresses for the orphans.
