From Wrestling Mats to Prayer Mats — Friday Social Club

Every Friday night, more than 100 young Muslims from across the city gather at Dar Al Arqam Masjid for something special. They come for the grappling, the games, the brotherhood—and of course, the food! But beyond the fun, there are moments of reflection that nurture their faith and inspire them to grow into better versions of themselves.

From Playtime to Precious Moments — Children’s Playgroup

Parents and children come together to create memories that last a lifetime. With dedicated spaces in the masjid for mums, dads, and children, everyone is warmly welcomed. But this playgroup is more than just fun—it’s a space where storytelling ignites imagination, games foster teamwork and friendship, and every session deepens the bond between parent and child. The playgroup beings local families together to create a strong, supportive community.

From Knowledge to Action — Daily Islamic Classes

For over 15 years, we’ve made Islamic knowledge accessible to all—completely free of charge. With thousands of hours of teaching, we’ve impacted countless students locallay and worldwide. For example, in the beginning of this year (2025) alone, 18 weekly classes are being o ered—from Quran and Arabic to Fiqh and Islamic History— there are classes every single day! Expert instructors, quality education, and a wealth of learning—all at no cost.

Every week, we serve over 300 worshippers at the masjid. Here, the salah moves hearts and reminds us why prayer is the foundation of our faith. Our Jumu’ah khutbahs don’t just inform—they inspire. Every week, powerful sermons touch lives, both in the masjid and beyond, with hundreds of hours watched online.

Life is overwhelming, but no one has to face it alone. Our Imam’s Advice & Support Service o ers free guidance, clarity, and comfort for those navigating marriage, religion, bereavement, conflicts, or personal struggles.

The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: Whoever builds a masjid for the sake of Allah, like a sparrow’s nest or even smaller, Allah will build for him a home in Paradise. 

And he said: When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: ongoing charity (sadaqah jariyah), knowledge that benefits, and a virtuous descendant who prays for him.
