Alhamdulillah, we're here to share this update with you as we enter the second and final phase of the Beeston masjid project. 

Allah s.w.t. has placed barakah in this project through the people working on it and your generous donations

Since last Ramadhan, we have achieved significant milestones together. Alhamdulillah, the masjid has been transformed by:

1. Removing church relics ✅

2. Demolishing old walls and windows ✅

3. Installing electrical wiring and lighting ✅

4. Establishing dedicated Wudu areas for both men and women ✅

5. Installing insulation panels all around and plastering ✅

6. Painting the walls of the men's prayer hall ✅

7. Installing a new gas connection to power a central heating system (to be installed) and provide hot water ✅

8. Installing wiring for security cameras, sound system, and fire alarm system ✅

9. Securing planning permission to build the extension for the brothers' new entrance lobby, front facade, and  Installing new doors ✅

Alhamdulillah, we are grateful to Allah for these achievements as they are a testimony to the strength of our community and its commitment to creating a space that nurtures faith, knowledge, and unity in an area of Nottingham that desperately needs such facilities.

Now, as we are in the second and final phase in this Ramadhan, we aim to complete the  outstanding works in order to be able to pray in the masjid late summer of 2024 in shaa Allah. The planned works include:

1. Building the side extension.

2. Replacing the flat roof in the women's prayer room.

3. Installing skylights in the women's prayer room and wudu areas for natural light.

4. New entrance doors and emergency exit.

5. Building the front facade of the masjid with large arched windows, installing front gates.

6. Installing the central heating system and cooling fans.

7. Finishing off painting throughout.

8. Laying down carpets.

To bring these enhancements to life, we need an estimated £20,000 to hit the £70,000 mark.
