Kashmir (India Administered Region)
Iltizam Relief Society’s Ramadan Appeal seeks support for vulnerable groups, including single mothers, orphaned children, and internally displaced people caught in the ongoing political conflict. Despite Jammu and Kashmir’s transition to state government, it remains a union territory.
Political instability and diseases affecting apple cultivation and tourism have further worsened the situation, particularly for those near the Line of Control, who often lack essential support.
Food Basket Contents: 30kg rice, 2kg pulses, 2 liters of cooking oil, 4kg salt, 2kg chili powder, 1kg turmeric powder, 2kg sugar, 1kg tea leaves.
Location of Distribution: Baramulla, Uri, Kupwara, Bandipora, and Budgam.
Bihar and West Bengal (India)
In the Krishnaganj district of Bihar, Birbhum and Uttar Dinajpur in West Bengal, nearly half of the population is Muslim and among the most disadvantaged in the region.
With 95% of West Bengal’s Muslim population classified as 'OBC' (Other Backward Class), many rely on agriculture for their livelihood. Iltizam Relief Society has been providing support in the form of nutritious food for three consecutive years.
Location of Distribution: Krishnaganj District, Birbhum and Uttar Dinajpur District.
Food Basket Contents: 30kg rice, 2kg pulses, 2 liters of cooking oil, 4kg salt, 2kg chili powder, 1kg turmeric powder, 2kg sugar, 1kg tea leaves.
Pakistan
In Nawabshah, Pakistan, flood-affected families since 2022 are still struggling to rebuild their lives. Many cannot afford even a simple meal to break their fast. With just USD 35, you can provide a food basket with essentials like rice, flour, lentils, oil, and dates—enough to sustain a family for the entire month. Your donation is Zakat-eligible and will make a significant impact.

Food Basket Contents: 15kg rice, 2 liters cooking oil, 1kg onions, 1kg dates, 2kg black chickpeas, 1kg sugar, 1kg garlic, 2kg puffed rice, 1kg cordial (drink powder), 1kg turmeric powder, 1kg chili powder.
The Rohingya
The Rohingya community continues to endure unimaginable suffering. Displaced, persecuted, and forgotten, they face daily struggles for survival.
In overcrowded camps, clean water, food, and medical care are luxuries. Children yearn for education while their parents battle to keep hope alive. Every day is a fight against hunger, poverty, and despair

Update project-Bangladesh
Alhamdulillah, Ramadan Project 2025 have been completed in Bangladesh. A total of 1,000 beneficiaries received aid from this project during the past Ramadan in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh.

Update on Kashmir Food Distribution
In the India-administered region of Kashmir, we have provided food baskets to 200 families in Srinagar and Bandipora. While the region is currently calm, it remains volatile, and the extreme poor continue to face hardship, especially single mothers.
With your support, we have been able to assist at least 200 families in Kashmir, and for four consecutive years, we have never failed to support Muslims in the region. All of this has been made possible because of your generous contributions.

Update on Ramadan Food Distribution (West Bengal)
