COVID-19 has impacted racialized women the most in terms of violence against women, higher risk of losing their jobs and pursing their education. 

With scholarships and bursaries, many women can afford to complete their education, which can then provide them with a better future for themselves and their families.

That is why we need YOUR help to support women's education! Your generous donation will help provide this life-changing program to more equity-deserving Canadian Muslim women across the country.

ABOUT THE LILA FAHLMAN SCHOLARSHIP

​HOW ARE THE FUNDS ALLOCATED?

The plan to utilize these funds is to award up to 5 scholarships of $1,000 annually over the next 4-5 years. The additional funds would help us reach out to support more women/girls with their educational needs.

Scholarship funds will be deposited directly to the educational institution that the student is attending.

How are Participants chosen?

Individual scholarships of $1000 may be awarded to Canadian Muslim women who are enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or certificate programs at a Canadian college or university.
