Islamic Association of North London - North Finchley Masjid
"North Finchley Masjid has been serving its community for nearly 50 years. A journey that began with few local Muslims forming the charity in 1977.
The Finchley Mosque provides the following facilities:
- Five daily prayers
- Friday prayers
- Children’s Islamic Education
- Children and Adult Qur’an classes
- Youth activities including keep-fit classes, table tennis etc.
- Hadith classes (Learning from the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him).
- Facilities for Marriage and other ceremonies.
Our Jummah prayers are overflowing, requiring three to four Jamaat sessions to accommodate everyone.
The weekend and after-school Madrasah are at full capacity, with waiting lists.
We’re continuing to deliver an array of services for the whole community, including religious services including salaah, Ramadan, nikah, scouts, reverts programs - despite the limited capacity.
Our current Masjid has served us well, but as our community has grown many folds, so have our needs."

Barnet Islamic Centre
"Barnet Islamic Centre, though newer to this journey, has quickly become a vital part of our community since it was purchased in 2020."
By 2021 we began to fulfil the basic needs of the community with 5 salahs, JUmma and Ramadan services.
Our Maktab opened in 2022 with increasing numbers and we urgently need better facilities for our Sisters and youngsters.
After many years of praying Jummah in various halls, Allah SWT has blessed us with this new Masjid in East Barnet.
But this building in its current state is not fit for purpose and we need your support to transform this into a modern Islamic centre with Larger prayer halls For brothers and sisters, better wudu area, Improved madrassa with dedicated classrooms and Youth club facilities.
"Alhamdulillah in 2023, we received planning approval to rebuild the Barnet Islamic Centre, into a state-of-the-art Masjid, which will enable us to serve the community for generations to come.
To date we have raised 200k with further £300K in pledges.
