About

Many of you have witnessed heart-wrenching disruptions in education due to the devastating events in Gaza, where hundreds of thousands of Palestinian students have been forced to halt their studies.

As you may know, in the past 10 months, every university in Gaza has been reduced to ruins, leaving countless dreams of education in shambles.

Education is not just a basic human right—it is a source of power and a beacon of hope. Recognizing this, we have established PSSAR (Palestinian Students & Scholars At Risk) as a formal nonprofit organization in Canada in March 2024.

Our mission is to offer academic solidarity and support to Palestinian graduate students wishing to continue their education in Canada and other parts of the world. Our dedicated team of over 60 volunteers works tirelessly to match students with academic programs and professors, assisting them from admission to visa procurement and relocation. We also secure funding guarantees (scholarships), which are essential for obtaining a student visa. Additionally, we coordinate with the Ministry of Immigration and Citizenship on the visa process and assist with passport renewals with Palestinian authorities.

But there’s so much more we can do with your help. We Need Your Support! To enhance our impact, we are seeking donations. Every dollar counts and helps us sustain and expand our support for these students. Donating is simple and only takes two minutes, but it can change someone’s life forever.

Your support could be the key to unlocking a brighter future for needy students. For those who have always wanted to help but didn’t know how—this is your chance. Let’s stand together for education, for hope, and for a better tomorrow.

Thank you for your generosity and solidarity.
