The Crisis
Since the lockdown, daily wage labourers have been confied to their homes and not able to feed their families. Stand For Humanity Foundation is providing doorstep delivery of monthly food packs to such families. We are a non-profit organisation.
Construction workers, balloon sellers, cobblers, painters, carpenters, fruit sellers, porters and roaming snacks sellers are just a few types of people whom we are supporting. These people have been forced to beg, and not able to get any help. This is turning out to be a very large scale humanitarian crisis.
Our efforts have been recognised by the Government of Punjab and the Punjab Food Authority, we are now being supported by them too.
Stand For Humanity Foundation have started providing food packs to these desperate labourers in the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. We have delivered food packs to over 200 families as of 26th March, but now need to do fundraising to help another 200 deserving families immediately (Fundraising Target to feed 200 families is $10,000 i.e. $50 x 200 families).
When these people go out to find food, there are over a dozen people fighting for each pack of food. You will be delivering a full month of food supplies to an entire family at their doorstep. With your support they won't need to go out begging for help. They are fed with dignity at their doorstep.
Our Process
Our volunteers gather data of the people in need through a reliable network of individuals in poor areas of the city. Meaning your aid will go only to deserving individuals. Our volunteers then home deliver the food pack to the deserving family. We buy in bulk from wholesale markets and our volunteers pack the food themselves, meaning your donations go a long way. Our volunteers work free of cost.

One food pack costs $50 and can feed a family of 4-5 for a whole month.
