Interest-Free Lending, Rooted in Compassion

We are a group of volunteers running a non-profit looking for your help to provide small interest-free loans to aid people to get back on their feet. We came to the realization of the importance of such a service when we initially raised funds for a friend with credit card debt. We found people willing to help, and many more that needed the same help. Now we invite you to help relieve the strain of debt by donating generously to this campaign and sharing it so others can share in the reward.

Our Story...

It all started very informally in our last year of university, when we tried helping a friend out of their credit card debt. Reaching out to mutual friends for help, we were able to fully raise the amount to cover their debt, but at the same time others were stuck in similar situations that we did not know about. We then decided to start an interest-free lending service as an institution. Thus, Beneficent then took shape as a non-profit organization in Canada.

Since then, we have had many applicants reach out to us, and we've helped lift many out of crippling debt.

As we are receiving more applications for loans than we are donations, your help in raising capital toward the pool will enable more people to lead a debt-free life.
