Help Save Shakhsiyah School: nurturing future scholars, thinkers, scientists and leaders since 2002.

"Raise your children for a time that is not your time." (Ali RA)

Shakhsiyah Schools have been serving the Muslim community for over 18 years. After several relocations and expensive rental leases, we now have the chance to buy our school building and we need to seize this opportunity, before our lease ends in March 2021. Please donate generously as this will ensure the continuation of Islamic education for over 120 students. It will also constitute as a Sadaqah Jarriyah and pave the way for us to continue building an epicentre for the community where Islamic values are nourished, research and teacher education is pursued and the wonderful school community is preserved.

WHO ARE WE?

Islamic Shakhsiyah Foundation was established in 2002 by a network of home-schooling Muslim mothers whose efforts to teach their own children grew into a sustained quest to devise a contemporary Islamic educational approach based securely on classical Islamic pedagogy. Over the last seventeen years, the foundation has grown organically, and now runs a range of educational projects including Shakhsiyah Schools, early years settings called Tifly Daycare, teacher education courses, educational research initiatives and various community and youth projects.

OUR UNIQUE WORK

We are one of a small number of Islamic schools in the UK striving to nurture the next generation of scholars, thinkers, scientists and leaders. We are a pioneering school engaged of renewal of traditional Islamic educational methodologies such as halaqah.

"Islamic Shakhsiyah Foundation has developed halaqah for use with primary age children; this is an innovative an impressive effort which blends the traditional with the contemporary very effectively..." Akram Khan Cheem OBE, CEO IBERR and MAKC Consultancy

Isra (8 years old) says: "My school is amazing because it teaches you how to become the best Muslim. The teachers are kind, they teach us about our deen and helps us remember Allah. We are taught to be creative during our Arts and Crafts lessons which I love so much."

Our aim is the holistic Shakhsiyah development of our children, staff and the Muslim community. Your kind donations will Insha'Allah ensure the continuation of Islamic education of 120 children, research in Islamic education and teacher education; as well as preserve a wonderful school community.
