The only problem?

IslamInSpanish is a non-governmental and non-commercial organization. We do not generate any profit or earn through the organization in any way, 

This means we rely on the support of our generous donor family to fund all our initiatives – in the way of the greater good.

In recent months, the world has had to witness, through a series of severely unfortunate and tragic events, the heights of Islamophobia and widespread misinformation about our religion. 

Both these situations have been so extreme, that they have managed to keep MILLIONS of people away from ever knowing the truth about Islam. 

However, we also know that these same people, if given the resources, would grab any chance they get to inch closer towards Islam and eventually embrace it. 

But hey, who are these people that you talk about so confidently? 

Spanish-Speaking Latinos. 

This number has been growing drastically over the last few years, and the ongoing oppression of our Muslim brothers and sisters — and the global reaction towards it — has shown us that we must double our efforts and try to reach out to as many people as we possibly can.

Even more interestingly, Latinos are now even more curious about exploring Islam than they were ever before, and as Muslims, we must do whatever we can to facilitate this growing interest. 

It goes without saying that in Ramadan, this interest is only bound to grow further.

And this is why we need to ensure that we use the month to leverage our impact 100%.
 

To implement our Ramadan programs and organize our Ramadan events, we need only 1500 special people to donate $100 each — and you can be one of them.

Ever since we started operations over 22 years ago, we’ve helped guide 1,000s of Latinos to Islam and provided a safe and thriving Islamic community to the 9% of American Muslims who identify as Latino. (Yes, all of them — IslamInSpanish is the ONLY Islamic organization in America that caters solely and completely to Spanish speakers all across the globe!)

There are 10 more months to go… and we’re about to enter the MOST important month for all Muslims — Ramadan. During this month, we have the ability to go above and beyond to spread the light of Islam far and wide.

Why Should You Help Organize Our Events And Programs?

The Prophet SAW said, "He who calls others to follow the Right Guidance will have a reward equal to the reward of those who follow him." 

According to ahadith, 
“The best charity is that given in Ramadan.”
“Sadaqah extinguishes sin as water extinguishes fire.”

“The believer's shade on the Day of Resurrection will be their charity"

And for every good deed you do during the month, your rewards will be multiplied 70X.

Our online content aims to educate those who are not yet Muslim, and New-Muslims about what Islam really is, and reaches millions of people worldwide.

One of our many Ramadan in-person programs includes organizing regular Iftars in both (Dallas and Houston) our facilities. The Holy Prophet SAW said, “Whoever gives food for a fasting person to break his fast, he will have a reward like theirs, without that detracting from their reward in the slightest.”

If any Latino (who is not yet Muslim) is to accept Islam through any of our Ramadan events, you will be rewarded for the Shahadah as well as any good deed that the person does for the rest of their life! Plus, if the events lead to any good deeds like prayers and Iftar — you will be rewarded for each one of them!

About IslamInSpanish

IslamInSpanish is an educational non-profit organization (registered 501(c)(3)) that was established out of the need to educate Latinos about Islam in the Spanish language worldwide after the devastating incident of 9/11. It was founded by Jaime “Mujahid” Fletcher, a Colombian who reverted to Islam whose need to share Islam with his father and family led to discover that there was no material in the Spanish language already available!

Mujahid along with his recently converted wife and father worked together to bring about a balanced understanding of Islam in a culturally relevant manner. This undertaking led to the creation of their first produced CD entitled “La Religion de la Verdad” (The Religion of Truth) which became the means to his wife’s aunt embracing Islam before her death from Cancer.

Shortly after production, that first CD was distributed to Spanish speakers worldwide with great success. Not only did the CD educate numerous people, but it also led to many of them accepting Islam as their new way of life. IslamInSpanish’s original mission was to become the number one trusted resource of Islamic multimedia educational resources and products in the Spanish language. To date, we have produced over 500 audiobooks, and 250+ television shows, and carried out 1000s of live events in North and Latin America.

As a pioneer and leader, it seeks to empower people who will empower their respective communities and bring about a sense of peace and common good worldwide by clarifying misconceptions of Islam and culturally attaching Latinos to their common Islamic roots historically from Al-Andalus, or Andalucia Spain, to normalize the notion of Islam to Spanish-speakers while encouraging universal principles of a common human good and diversity.
