Malaysia is the most obese country in Asia with an alarming rate of obese children. Obesity and inactively greatly limits our Muslim communities to compete in an every competitive and productive global economy. 

Brothers and sisters, I am taking this fight against obesity, malnutrition and inactivity to over 7000 schools in Malaysia but I cannot do it without your help.

Our Story

Jom Kurus Sekolah (JKS) is a Community Our Reach Program To Empower Schools & The Community with the right hands-on knowledge on happy-balance-healthy living and an advocacy on how to lose weight, improve exercise, nutritional habits and mental health through required training and sufficient exercise in order to combat obesity, malnutrition & inactivity In schools and the community. This programme is aimed particularly at school-going children/teenagers, teachers, Parents-teachers' Association, parents, youth and the community surrounding them.

​We had kicked off the inaugural JKS with the direct involvement of 6,230 of a targeted 5,000 schools across Malaysia in 2019. In 2020, we are looking forward to continue our advocacy mission to educate, to expand and to reach out more schools and community surrounding the schools' areas nationwide.

Supported by the Ministry of Education

JKS initiative and projects are supported by Malaysia Ministry of Education, and has received extensive media coverage by local and international media. This movement is also designed specifically to drive a strong, healthy and competitive ummah who strive and thrive for excellence.

7000+ Schools and Over 1,000,000 Children

We are targeting about 7,500 schools nationwide (Malaysia) to expedite the JKS programmes in 2020 and beyond. We plan to continue to empower the community, especially children and youth in Malaysia this year on the importance of balanced, healthy and happy lifestyle with the right knowledge of balanced nutrition, exercise and mental health, along with the consistent support and motivation from everyone in the community.

How can you help?

The following are ways you can help:

• Share - Share this campaign with EVERYONE in your network. You will not only be helping us raise more money to help this cause, you will also receive more blessings for each person who donates from your sharing.

I am an award winning US certified personal trainer and nutritionist with over 15 years experience and father of two amazing children.

I am the founder of Malaysia’s largest weight loss movement called Jom Kurus.
