Campaign objective

Muraqaba app aims to revive and make the rich contemplation and meditation tradition of Muslims and Islamic scholars accessible to the masses and the palms of Muslim hands to cultivate God-centered emotional wellbeing. We have soft launched our app to 100 pre-subscribers and started building in the features and functionalities suggested by the community. We're also holding a live meditation practice each week exclusively for our subscribers and nurturing the community as we go! 

Now it's time to launch the app to the public and go live on app stores. Your support will help us in funding the final stretch of Content and App development for the app. The funds will go into recording audios for duas, Quranic verses and new meditation categories that users have requested for and completing the app's development for a seamless user experience. The Problem Space

We live in a Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, and Ambiguous (VUCA) world. We are more distracted, stressed, overwhelmed, and suffering diverse emotional difficulties. Muraqaba brings back a God-centered, faith-based mindfulness and meditation practice to provide the daily spiritual and emotional training we need to find relief from the difficulties, distractions, and stress of modern life. 

Methodology and Scholarly Guidance:

Muraqaba incorporates the Islamic art of contemplation, meditation, and God-centered presence in ready-to-use guided practices to bring the essence of beautiful verses of the Qur'an, name of Allah, Prophetic Dua's, Adhkaar, affirmation, and more to provide relief to the emotional difficulties Muslims are facing and cultivate spiritual and emotional wellbeing.

The Muraqaba team is developing the content at the intersection of evidence-based neuroscience and the Muslim tradition of cultivating Hudhur, Dhikr, Tafakkur, Tadabbur, Muraqaba, Taqwa, and Ihsaan to build emotional resilience and well-being in a God-centered, culturally relevant environment.

We continuously seeks guidance from Islamic scholars and psychologists in its content motivation and methodologies. After Qur'an, and Sunnah, one of the key scholarly influences on our content is Imam Ghazzali.

The Team

Our content creators are seasoned subject matter specialists in the field of Mental Wellness. Our team collectively brings over 15 years of experience in Mindfulness, Emotional Intelligence, and Mindset training, as well as Islamic Psychology integrating the work of Muslim scholars and tradition in our meditation, contemplation, and affirmation practices to overcome mental and emotional distress, negativity, and challenges that hurt our focus, calmness, peace, purpose, or productivity. Our specialists include but are not limited to.

The Muraqaba app also draws on our teachers' expertise, certification, and education in Islamic Psychology, Mindfulness, Emotional Intelligence, and Neuroscience to incorporate evidence-based tools of mental and emotional well-being training while we focus on reviving an authentic experience of God and Faith centered guided mindfulness practices inspired by Qur'an, Sunnah, and Scholarly teachings.
