Journey Half Done! Half left!

I am Mohammed Aslam Hyder Quraish, a 27-year-old Indian Muslim wishing to complete my journey of learning Arabic so that I may understand Quran in prayer or while reading and teach Quran. I have started my journey in 2013 with Arabic with Husna course from Bayyinah.tv followed by Bayyinah Access 2 course from bayyinah.com/access. And since the beginning of my journey, I had a dream of attending the 9-month intensive dream program from Bayyinah institute in Dallas, USA. But I strongly believe Allah always has better plans for me. And as believed dream course now is nearer to me and easily accessible through Dream Worldwide, a course recently launched by Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan which will be starting from 13th July 2018 in Copenhagen, Denmark. This opportunity takes me one step closer to my ultimate dream of understanding Quran. However, I need your support to get there!

Dream Worldwide is a 5 ½ month Arabic program that is geared toward teaching English speakers to understand classical Arabic texts, focusing on the Quran. The program’s first 10 days will be held in Copenhagen followed by a 5-month online study and then the last 5 intensive days will be again held in Copenhagen.

Your support will pave a path toward furthering my Quranic and Islamic educational opportunities. Also being a School Psychologist it will help me in intervening the students with more in-depth Quranic perspective and in connecting families to the Quran and help them to improve their mental health. And It will also help me in my current ongoing project of centralizing Quranic verses based on different topics. I will be better equipped to serve my community and others upon completing. I look forward to sharing my skills and giving back to my community.

More About Me: My Story

I was born to Indian parents who immigrated to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. to provide a better future for their family. I am the fourth of six children, and the eldest of two siblings. I am married and the father of two. I grew up in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
I went back to India and attended Osmania University to pursue my studies in Electronics and communication Engineering from Hyderabad, India. On completion, I returned to Saudi Arabia and started working as an Engineer. And as part-time I started studying Arabic from bayyinah.tv followed by a Higher Diploma in Islamic Studies from Islamic Online University parallelly with Bayyinah access 2 Arabic course. Being passionate about knowing myself and how my brain works I started pursuing Associate Degree in Psychology after it. And during this time I successfully taught Fundamentals of classical Arabic to 3 batches of 4 to 5 students Alhumdulillah. And has served an organization for Dawah works and in organizing Islamic and Other Educational programs for youth and young adults. I have also attended a few leadership and Neuro-Linguistic Programming Courses.

And currently, I have left my job in the field of Engineering and joined Eastern Public School in Bhopal, first IB curriculum based school of Asia with Islamic integration which is struggling due to its early years. It aims to produce eminent professionals and entrepreneurs with the strong ethical foundation who could master the expanding horizons of arts, literature, science & technology to help create a justice-driven, peaceful and prosperous world through academic excellence integrated with core Islamic values. I joined it as a School Psychologist and as an Islamic Studies Teacher for the betterment of the community.
The total amount required for two trips to Copenhagen and the tuition fees amounts to 7500$ of which I have managed 2000$ falling short by 7500$.
