         An Appeal for Allah's Home – Masjid-duth-Thowheed - Phase II - Building Construction

           Total Construction Area: Ground + 2 Floor = 2,200 Sq. Ft

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased)."[Muslim].Book 13, Hadith 8 Arabic/English book reference : Book 13, Hadith 1383 

Build a Mosque is one of the way to achieve the Sadaqah Jariyah, Here is the way to attain that 

“Whoever Builds a Masjid Mosque for the Sake of Allah, Allah will Build Something Similar for him in Paradise.”

Bukhari Hadith No: 450, Sunan Ibn Majah Hadith No: 736

Assalamu Alaikkum Brothers and Sisters,

We, TamilNadu Thowheed Jamath (TNTJ), Alandur Branch located in Chennai ,TamilNadu, India, doing lots of Religious and social activities for the past 20 Years.

With the help of Allah Subhana-Wa-Ta’ala, for the past 7 years we have been  Successfully Organizing Sahar Food (Free of Cost) for the bachelors for the entire 30 days of Ramadhan. More than 120 bachelors are getting benefited on this. Alhamdhulillah!!!

Some of Our Activities:-

• Five times Prayer & Jumma Prayer (Brothers and Sisters)
• Makthab Madhrasa and free tuition classes for Boys and Girls (More than 80 students)
• Weekly Bayan for our Sisters
• Sahar and Ifthar Arrangement for entire month of Ramadhan for continuous 7 years (More than 120 Bachelors are getting benefited)
• Islamic Campaign Meeting, Islamic Preaching to Non-Muslim Brothers and Sisters
• Free Quran and Islamic books Distributions
• Megaphone Campaign, bit notice distributions
• Medical Aid, Education Aid, Livelihood assistance
• Blood Donations
• Helping hands during Disasters, and many more, Alhamdhulillah

Currently we are operating in a very old rental building terrace, with cement and tin sheet roof. 

Due to space constraints we are cooking sahar food in Sisters praying area, hence our brothers are spending lots and lots of time in cleaning the area to make it ready for our sisters to pray on daily basis, so they are not able to spend sufficient time on Ibadath during ramadhan.

As the premises is open and old , we are facing lots of problems during rainy season as rain water is coming inside the masjid ,giving problem to madhrasa Children as well as for prayers.

Hence with the Grace of Allah Subhana-Wa-Ta’ala, we discussed with our Jamath Members and decided to buy a land to construct a masjid to enhance our religious and social activities.

As a beginning we have identified a land with the measurement of 800 Sq.ft and plan to build 3 floor masjid in the same. 

Last year we have started the fund raising activity to buy the land ,With the Grace of the Almighty , we have collected the funds by the means of donations from our brothers and sisters, street collections and putting money from our pockets.

An 8 years old boy donated his  savings towards the way of Allah, mosque construction

​Last week we have successfully bought and registered the mentioned land for the mosque with the budget of $47,433 (INR 31 Lakhs). Alhamdhulillah.

Now we have started  the fund raising for the mosque construction with the budget of $46,560 (INR 30 Lakhs).

Chennai Alandur Area is populated with Muslim communities, where majority of them are depends on daily wages, running very tiny business and economically backward, also we do not have any abroad resources,  we are struggling a lot to collect the fund for the masjid construction.

Hence we are requesting your help and extendd support in the way of ALLAH to  to construct the Masjid, which gives Endless Rewards (Sadaqatul jariya) and Mercy from Allah Subhana-Wa-Ta’ala.In Shaa Allah
