Averroes High School is reaching out for zakat funding for four students in the amount of $50,000. This amount will cover partial tuition for one full school year for four zakat eligible students as part of our Financial Aid Grant Program. Because ALL students deserve a chance to go to the institution they deserve regardless of socioecomonic disparity.

Some students may never have a chance at attending this prestigious Islamic High School if it were not for the Zakat funding!  Your dollars matter.

The purpose of the Averroes High School Financial Aid Grant Program is to provide financial assistance to students who are unable afford the full tuition and exhibit strong academic merit. The financial discounts are provided for 10 months and students needs to reapply at the end of each school year. Preference is given to those students who received financial aid the prior year if they are able to maintain academic excellence and continue to meet the requirements for this grant.

This year we have at least four students that are zakat eligible and we are asking for your zakat support.

We are blessed to have witnessed the commencement of our fourth graduating class this year. Our strong academic curriculum is reflected by some of the universities our students have been accepted to, including UC Berkeley, Purdue University, UC Davis, Santa Clara University, UC San Diego, NYU, UC Irvine and Zaytuna College.

Averroes High School understands that these are difficult financial times for many of our families and we strive to continue to serve and keep our doors open for those who may not be able to afford a private Islamic education for their children. It is essential to the spirit of Averroes that we continue to serve a diverse student body.
