Help us raise funds to build a Primary School in rural Faisalabad.

Build a School in Faisalabad

Help us raise funds for these 90 children and build a Primary School in rural Faisalabad. These amazing young children of local farmers are being educated in a make shift temporary facility.

Your generosity will help these children see a brighter future. Everyone deserves that.

Your money will help these children to get an education instead of being at home all day whilst their parents work long hours on farmland. There are no other options for schooling in the area . You can help us provide free education without barriers. Together we can help educate these children, the families and community. An education surely is the helping hand out of poverty and into a new world of prosperity and security.

The school is registered for elementary education and has 90 boys and girls between the ages of 3 and 8 registered on the roll. All are provided with uniforms and free education. These children have never gone to school before. They would have been home alone as the parents worked to earn a living.

How You Can Help

- Phase 1 Funds required £10,000

The children are currently using a local mosque as a school. We now need to urgently re-locate and build a school for the children and acquire a permanent school site. Our Muslim Ummah has achieved some amazing things. I invite you to donate so that we can achieve our Phase 1 target of £10,000 insha Allah.

Our main Trustee, Robeena has already set up three schools in Pakistan and these are now self-funding , one was taken over by Muslim Aid and they now run the school within their wider education projects.

Chand Tara School is run by Ifraheem a trained teacher and lecturer who has a passion to teach children and enable them to become role models for the future generations. On entry the children are assessed and put into groups which are reassessed every month and according to progress are regrouped into classes , some are given extra support to help them make progress in learning.

YOU can help by donating directly or help us fundraise , all your money will go straight to the project as this charity is run by volunteers . The project falls under the Chand Tara Education Trust which is a charity set up to provide education in rural parts of Pakistan.

Our Story

We are the Chand Tara Education Trust empowering children in rural Pakistan with access to free education. Our main Trustee, Robeena Tahseen has set up three schools in Pakistan and these are now self-funding Alhamdulillah. That is an immense achievement of which we are very proud. All funds generously donated will go straight to the project. We are currently registering the charity with the Charities Commission in UK .

Robeena has been involved in setting up schools in Pakistan for over 20 years now. She was driven by her passion to serve and remembered a most read verse from an a hadith. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The best among you (Muslims) are those who learn the Qur'an and teach it." حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَلْقَمَةُ بْنُ مَرْثَدٍ، But to access the Quran we had to open the gateway to education...that became her  vision . In the spring 0f 2001 Robeena set off onto her journey to improve the lives of the poor young children in a developing country and focused on Pakistan  where she was born and familiar with the environment and language. She was destined to meet some very special people. These people shared her vision and desire to make a difference. Robeena planned and organised  trips to Pakistan every year and researched different areas to establish the right location for a school. Eventually the first school project took shape in a small village called Mohammed Pura in Kasur followed by a second project in Murre Hills and a third in Peshwar.

We have now embarked on a fourth school Project in Faisalabad.  A local mosque has offered Ifraheem a space in their mosque to set up and run his school for a short period. We now need to build a school for these children so they have a permanent school site. We invite our Brothers and Sisters to join and support us in this Noble and worthwhile cause. Our Muslim Ummah have achieved some amazing acheivements. Please come forward and help with your donations to bring about change to the lives of these innocent and worthy children. We can join together and get the school building completed for these children in their local area.
