HELP NEEDED TO BUILD AN ISLAMIC SCHOOL FOR POOR CHILDREN.​

In a rural area of the Somali region of Ethiopia, called Raaso, there are children who have only ever known poverty. Some are orphans, some are simply from poor families.  However, the one form of education that Somali children in Somalia mostly have in common is 'dugsi', the opportunity to learn and memorise the book of Allah, the traditional way. 

These children do not even have that. But not even that has stopped them. Through sheer perseverance, every day they sit outside, without any shade, without any building, all to learn the book of Allah. 

We want to help them by building a school that can be their sanctuary. Where they can learn the Quran and study the religion comfortably. Having a fair chance to learn the religion of Allah is a right everyone deserves.
