The youth of Scottsdale, Arizona need your help to complete our new Community Masjid by Ramadan, inshAllah!


Oasis in the Desert

In September of 1998, the Muslim families living or working in the Northeast Valley got together to discuss the possibility of building an Islamic Center for this community. This energetic and enthusiastic group continue to meet week after week to plan and discuss progress of this noble project. After all, "Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, small or large, Allah shall build a house for him or her in Paradise." This masjid is the first masjid to be built in Scottsdale is also known as the Scottsdale Mosque. ICNEV held its first Jumaa Prayer on September 8th, 2000.

In 2007 we built the first phase of the mosque, which included a musalla and beautiful, state-of-the-art banquet hall and other rooms. But we quickly outgrew the musalla, leading to...

A Vision for the Youth & Community

Two years ago, the youth pushed for a dedicated masjid in Scottsdale, Arizona. An Oasis of coolness in the middle of the desert, they wanted a place to pray, a place to learn, and a place to grow as a Muslim community. In 2014 construction began and inshallah this Ramadan we will finish, with Allah's permission and your help!

Alhamdulilah, after a long journey, their dream is almost a reality! The community has grown tremendously in the past few years.  Hundreds of believers gather each week for Jumuah, each night in Ramadan for Taraweeh, and for the Eid celebrations. 


ICNEV Qur'an Academy

Last year, we launched the ICNEV Quran Academy and, alhamdulilah, we now have over 70 students eagerly memorizing the Quran after school and on the weekends. It's being led by Hafiz Yaser Ali and Mohammad Mabrook, two American born-and-raised hufaz and in the next 2 years they hope to graduate 10 hufaz of the Qur'an.

And the finish line for the new masjid is right around the corner. This project has cost about $1,250,000 and we've raised most of that money already. We just need your help to raise the final $250,000 necessary to complete our new community Masjid before Ramadan, inshAllah! Each brick has cost us approximately $50 and we have 5000 bricks left to cover - how many bricks can you sponsor?
