THE CURBSIDE HOT MEALS INITIATIVE
Non-profits and local restaurants across Atlanta have come together to support health care providers and the affected families by providing hot meals, for just $5/ meal box. Sponsoring a meal box will help the families get food, the healthcare providers will get to eat hot meals, and it will give our local restaurants a chance to remain open.
The Problem
As the world grapples with the existential threats of the Coronavirus Pandemic, the dramatically challenging impact has affected the Atlanta communities, restaurants, and businesses.
It's painful to see families and businesses suffer. Restaurants face the uncertainty of being able to stay open. Countless people continue to lose their jobs or deal with missed paychecks and pay cuts.
As the Coronavirus cases rampantly increase across Georgia, nearly one out of six cases in the state of Georgia are from the Atlanta metro area. This causes a huge strain on our First Responders such as healthcare workers, firefighters, police force, etc. Our First Responders are heroes who are putting their health and well-being on the line for our community. Let's work together to help our heroes and families in need.
The Funds
Our goal is to serve our Atlanta Community with 100% of the funds received to provide meals for the families in need and the First Responders.

This initiative is a collaboration among:
ICNA Relief, Helping the Community, Pakistani American Friends of Atlanta, Islamic Speakers Bureau of Atlanta, Atlanta Muslim Hub, GA APPNA, Madina Institute Atlanta Masjid, Roswell Community Masjid, Gwinnett Islamic Circle, and YOU.

Green Olive-Kabob House, Karachi Broast Alpharetta, Murray's in a Hurry, Naiji's Catering, Tandoor, Baraka Shawarma, Kabob Hut, Kabobish, Pinch of Spice, Marrietta Wings, Mughal's, Stone Creek Pizza, Lousinia Famous Halal Fried Chicken and many others in helping feed underserved communities of Atlanta and First Responders.

Served a Homeless Shelter
Yesterday, we served a homeless shelter in Atlanta. Sponsored again by Camp Noor, we distributed 210 meal boxes.
BUDD TERRACE EMORY NURSING HOME
Today wet delivered 150 meal boxes to BUDD TERRACE EMORY NURSING HOME.
450 Meal Boxes to Gateway Center Shelter
Today we donated 450 meal boxes to Gateway Center shelter. Gateway Center houses 369 beds for men who are enrolled in residential programs and actively working to end their homelessness. They also operate a publicly-accessible Client Engagement Center that serves men, women, and children by connecting them to resources and partners in-house and throughout the Atlanta metropolitan area. WellStar Hospital
First Responder Friday - Today we honor our health care workers, with all your love and 200 lunches for North Fulton Wellstar hospital.
Marietta Mobile Park
This Sunday, we served hot meal boxes to an underserved community at a mobile park in Marietta, GA.
Yesterday, we distributed over 300 hot meals through our curbside First Responders hot meal drive at Atlanta VA Medical Center. Thanks to Walia Group for sponsoring yesterday's meal boxes. Thank YOU for your continued support in helping deliver meals to underserved communities and First Responders.
Our First Curbside Iftar
This Sunday we served a Curbside Iftar at Masjid Al Mominean in Clarkston, Ga. Special thanks to Madina Institute Atlanta Masjid for Sponsoring this initiative. We would also like to thank Madina Mercy team for coordinating the efforts! 400 hot meal boxes were passed out by our dedicated volunteers!

Last Friday we went to Atlanta Medical Hospital to appreciate and uplift the spirits of all the Health-Care Practitioners who are risking their lives during the Covid 19 Pandemic. Special Thanks to Dr. Yasmeen Imran for coordinating this effort with us. We provided 200 hot meals to the hard working staff at the hospital. We would also like to thank Hoor Agad for donating masks to the staff.
This initiative has already served close to 3000 hot meals to our Healthcare Workers, Police Officers, Firefighters and Families in Need. We are so thankful that this has become a community led effort with several collaborating Muslim Organizations, Non profits, Mosques & Restaurants.

Another Successful Weekend
Alhumdulilah, another successful weekend with our community led Curbside Hot Meals Initiative. We have served close to 2500 meal boxes so far. This weekend, we served 200 hot meal boxes at an underserved area recommended by city of Atlanta to ICNA Relief Atlanta. We also donated 350 hot meals to 8 different Atlanta Fire Department battalions around the city of Atlanta
