Through biking, my first goal was to improve on my personal fitness goals - becoming a stronger and healthier version of myself. What started as riding the familiar paths of my city, grew into an exploration of some of the most fascinating land marks on earth.

Last Year
For my birthday last year, through the help of the UNWRA USA, I took
part in an effort to raise awareness about the Palestinian refugees in
Syria. Just an average middle class guy on a bike, pushing through 200
mile routes, for an empowering cause. It was a tremendous success and
an exhilarating experience to say the least. The support and
positivity from those around me and complete strangers fueled my

.....And Now
This year I am honored to have the opportunity to repeat this
successful experience through the support of Islamic Relief USA. My goal is to raise awareness for Syrian & Yemeni Refugees. 

Seeing the images of children, women and men stranded in war zones prompted me to take action. I, like so many, can not even begin to understand the desperation, fear and hopelessness that these crises bring to
families but I want to make a choice to not stand idly by. I want to
turn the thing I love most into a tool for positive change.
