MILESTONE #1: We Built 1 Orphan Home for $50,000...Let's Build a 2nd Home!

Assalamu Alaikum (Greetings of Peace)...My name is Arsalan Iftikhar (founder of TheMuslimGuy.com) and I serve as a brand ambassador for Penny Appeal USA.  

We are hoping to raise $100,000 to help build two of our OrphanKind village homes for 10-12 orphans each (with 2 full-time foster mothers in each house) inside our massive new Penny Appeal OrphanKind village complex in Pakistan's central Punjab province.

​Many Muslims know the well-known hadith where the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ once famously said: “I and the guardian of an orphan will be in the Garden of Paradise like these [holding up two fingers close to each other]."

Your zakat-eligible (and tax-deductible) donation to Penny Appeal USA will help house orphans in Pakistan until they graduate from high school.

What is Penny Appeal's OrphanKind Village?

According to UNICEF, there are approximately 5,700 children who become orphans every single day. Children suffer the most during conflicts and natural disasters and are the most vulnerable to poverty, disease, stigma, and medical needs.

Penny Appeal USA's OrphanKind villages are designed to help transform the lives of disadvantaged orphan children, offering them a better future in a secure family setting.

Each of the 10 homes in our OrphanKind Villages will house 10 orphaned children each- together with a full-time trained foster mother- they will form a family unit within each one of our OrphanKind homes.

The OrphanKind village community in Pakistan is designed to provide for the complete nurturing of each child through education, access to quality healthcare, and the love of a foster mother to tend to their emotional and psychological needs. By providing each child with all the essentials for their emotional, psychological, and physical growth, we can help every orphan pave a way to a brighter future in the face of tremendous loss. 

Our OrphanKind village complex will consist of ten (10) modern homes, a health clinic, a mosque, an administrative building and a large play area. There is also a large school for over 1000 girls and boys that the orphans will attend free of charge. The modern private school we are building will help support the complex as fee-paying students from neighboring cities and towns will be admitted allowing our orphans to thrive as members of the local community.

Bungalows in the village are equipped with modern facilities such as beds, kitchens, conducive sitting rooms, dining halls, modern bathrooms, air conditioners and indoor play materials. Other facilities available to make the complex more habitable for the children, foster mothers and staff include a reliable electricity and water supply, outdoor play materials and a basketball court as well as a place of worship. The complex has the all the required facilities conducive to a caring and protective environment for the orphan children and their foster mothers.

How Can You Help?

The OrphanKind village complex in Sohawa, Pakistan is a multi-million dollar multi-year project. According to Penny Appeal, each one of the 10 orphan houses that you see above will cost approximately $50,000 USD to build for 10 orphans (and 2 full-time foster mothers).
