Why she needs us

A new immigrant from Bangladesh, sister Latifa resides in Sterling, Virginia. She was brutally hit by a car while she was crossing the road from her apartment complex to ADAMS Sterling Mosque for Taraweeh prayer. Her accident has left her drowning in a pile of medical costs. With no health insurance, neither her nor her family currently has the means of paying the bills. Let's make her recovery a peaceful one inshAllah by alleviating this massive financial burden from her and her family.

Brutal accident on the way to ADAMS Taraweeh prayer

On June 8th, 2017, an elderly sister in our ADAMS community, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, was involved in a brutal car accident in which she was hit by a car while crossing the street. She was immediately taken to the emergency as she was in critical medical condition with severe injuries in her head, knees, and other body parts. She broke her hip and leg in addition to sustaining head injury.
