The Hariri family has lost their home in Syria and left their loved ones behind, but they have finally made their journey to the United States in hopes of finding a better and safer life. They've met the community, have a place to live, started working and going to school, but now they need a 7 passenger van to get to work and school independently. There's no better feeling than being independent and getting your life together.

Our committee members are made up of Charlotte residents who recognize the immediate need for action as the Syrian crisis evolves. Currently there are 3 refugee families living in Charlotte who are being assisted by local organizations. We are doing our best to help them get established in homes, schools, and jobs, but we cannot do it without ongoing support and financial assistance. All donations are deeply appreciated.
