Assalamu ‘alaikom everyone,

We are The Islamic Association of the Alps, situated in Turin, Italy.

Every year, during the month of Ramadan, we organize an Iftar Street with an Open Mosque for the people who want to know more about Islam and Muslims in Italy. The past years we counted more than 2,500 participants, between citizens and institutions.

This year we want to make a change and you can help us!

We decided to stop using in our two mosques, Masjid Taiba and Masjid Al Rayan, mono-use plastics.

Every day in Taiba Mosque we serve more than 300 meals, and every week in
Rayan Mosque more than 200 meals. 

Unfortunately in that way we produce a lot garbage that contributes to the pollutions.

This year we will use just biodegradable plastic and paper. Our target is to have the Holy Month of Ramadan without polluting plastics. We will also start to separate the waste we produce.

We need your help.

In Italy not-pollution plastics costs a lot. 

In this Holy Month, and during our entire life, we need to protect the Earth we live in, given to us by God. 

We are called to accomplish this task, and today you can do it too, by donating even a small amount.

As-salamu alaikum a tutti,
Siamo l'associazione islamica delle Alpi che ogni anno organizza a Torino, durante Ramadan, un iftar street con moschea aperta.
L'anno scorso abbiamo contato la partecipazione di 2500 persone, fra cittadini e istituzioni. Quest'anno sarà completamente diverso e portai prenderne parte.
Abbiamo deciso di organizzare nelle nostre due moschee un mese intero senza l'uso di plastiche monouso. 

Ogni giorno nella Moschea Taiba serviamo più di
300 pasti per la rottura del digiuno ai meno abbienti, e ogni settimana nella Moschea Rayan 200 pasti.
Quindi potete immaginare quanta spazzatura produciamo!
Quest'anno useremo solo plastica biodegradabile e carta, l'obiettivo è un mese senza plastiche inquinanti. Ridurremo anche gli sprechi tramite la raccolta differenziata.
Abbiamo bisogno del tuo aiuto!

In Italia la plastica non inquinante costa esponenzialmente di più.
In questo sacro mese dobbiamo proteggere la terra che ci è stata affidata.
Siamo chiamati a compiere questa missione, e anche tu oggi puoi farlo donando anche solo una piccola somma.

نحن جمعية تقوم كل سنة بتنظيم حدث في شهر رمضان المبارك يتمثل في فتح أبواب المسجد لكل افراد المجتمع الإيطالي وتنظيم مأدبة إفطار في مدينة طورينو.

السنة الماضية شهدنا مشاركة كل من المؤسسة الدينية والمدنية والسياسية وعدد كبير من الزوار حيث استقبلنا ما يزيد عن 2500 شخص.

نقدم ازيد من 300 وجبة إفطار يوميا في مسجد طيبة و مايقارب 200 وجبة إفطار أسبوعيا في مسجد الريان لفائدة المحتاجين.

اذن يمكنكم تخيل كمية النفايات التي ننتجها.

ولكن هذه السنة ستكون مختلفة عن سابقاتها كليا ويمكنكم المشاركة أيضا.

حيث اننا قررنا هذه السنة استخدام المواد البلاستيكية القابلة لاعادة التدوير و الورقية فقط ,بهدف تجنب استعمال المواد البلاستيكية الملوثة للبيئة خلال شهر رمضان الكريم.

كما اننا سنقوم بفرز النفايات لتسهيل إعادة تدويرها.

ففي هذا الشهر المبارك يجب علينا الحفاظ على الأرض التي انعم الله علينا بها.

ولكن هذا العمل لن يكون ممكنا دون مساعدتكم انتم.

ففي إيطاليا المواد البلاستيكية القابلة لاعادة التدوير تكلف اكثر من غيرها.

ولكن من خلال تبرعكم بمبلغ بسيط تستطيعون جعل هذه المهمة ممكنة.
