OUR STORY 

Al-Sabeel Masjid Noor Al-Islam (est. 2002 ) serves as a Mosque, school, and community center for the Muslim community of San Francisco and the greater Bay Area. 

We are inspired by the teachings of the Qur’an to create a faith-based community dedicated to peace, interfaith dialogue, justice and compassion. We provide religious and social services to a large and diverse Muslim constituency.

THE NEED

Your brothers and sisters from the Islamic Community of San Francisco are asking for help to complete the mortgage payment for the Masjid and to build a second level to help accommodate the growing community.

Saturday Islamic School at AlSabeel Masjid

These payments need to be completed before the end of the year in order for us to continue provided services to the 700+ strong family and the greater San Francisco community. 

Youth helping with renovations

Charity given that contribute towards building a Masjid is considered a "sadaqah jariya" or continued charity, and the donor
will continue receive good deeds from Allah until the day of Judgment inshaAllah. 

Al Sabeel hosts local college students for Islam 101 workshops
