This campaign will collect all funds raised by November 11, 2017 at 7:00 PM EST
On Saturday, October 14, 2017 a lorry loaded with explosives was set off outside the Safari Hotel in the heart of Mogadishu, Somalia killing more than 230 people and leaving hundreds more injured. It's the largest terror attack in the history of my homeland Somalia.
Please join us in supporting the hundreds of victims of this tragedy by donating generously!
My name is Dr. Sadiyo Said, and I returned to help rebuild Somalia. I am saddened by the violence the people of Somalia have to face daily. The attack on October 14th, 2017 in Mogadishu is impacting the poor women and children of Somalia. Many who lost their lives were business women on the streets selling goods to feed their children. Many students died getting ready for graduations. There are hundreds of victims in the hospital right now who need support to continue their daily lives. They need medical care, food to feed their families and support to rebuild their lives. We want to get aid directly to the people by using telephone technology to send money directly to victims and their families on their cell phones.
All funds raised will be going to Eva Organization for Women. (EOW) is a registered UK charity (charity number 1156347), whose aim is to empower people who are in charitable need, in particular women, their families and young people to have a positive impact on the world in which they live.
Through close collaborations with many different sector experts, bilingual community leaders and talented spokespersons, EOW advocates the development of these individuals to help to make their future brighter; to gain access equal rights and opportunities; to excel educationally; to acquire and maintain physical and mental health; to become more ‘politically aware’ citizens and to become socially and economically advanced within their communities.

Thank You
Thank you all who continue to help the people of Mogadishu in this terrible time. We have started to gather a list of victims to support from Medina Hospital. The need is great, please share with your family & friends. We are finding many families who lost family members, income and a way to support themselves. Our priority is to help women with children get immediate support. Again, share and may Allah (SWT) reward you all.
